The Close Combat Lethality Task Force released this photo of Soldiers from the 101st AASLT DIV’s 2nd Battalion, 502nd IBCT, as they received their new XM7s and XM250s last week at Fort Campbell.
The unit will conduct extensive training and testing over the next few weeks. See our update for details.
Look at all those brand new complete systems! “Everyone count off 1-4. Now all the 4’s I want you to reach into the box and take one item and throw it away. Next I want all the 3’s to take one item and sell it to the pawn shop Friday. Now if you are a 1&2 I want the ones and twos to swap a component from each others box. Make sure they are not the same.”
Looking forward to seeing some real world, unedited feedback on these two weapon systems.
Until they are fielded in numbers and Soldiers start talking about them, we’ll have to wait and see.
Or you can go down to Mexico and get one from the cartels, or find them being sold in the arms black markets in Europe that most of the gear we’re sending to Ukraine end up in.
The rumor is there’s already gear for em showing up in pawn shops
The question is whether ammunition is available within the AHA, and if range operations permit shooting on standard ranges.
