OR – Palladium/MultiCam

image

You’ve probably heard of Palladium or at least seen their boots in old photos of the French Foreign Legion.  Over the years lots of guys have used these boots for maritime as well as desert and jungle operations.  They’ve teamed up with Crye Precision to offer the classic Pampa boot in MultiCam, Tropical, Black and Arid.  Coming January, 2016.

Uh.. those look like chuck taylors.

    • They are like chucks with a little more protein powder. More comfortable as well. I think they pre-date chuck’s too.

nope chucks have been around since 1921 they have 26 year on em but none the less these are suppose to be more durable

I just bought a pair of these (regular colors) a week ago. I’ve only worn them a few times, once for about eight hours, but so far they have been very comfortable and cool. Better support than I expected and they fit true to size. The sole is thicker than Chucks with a more aggressive boot like sole.

Must have a pair of those Arids! Very nice.

Do these actually hold up in military situations?

Nice, I’ve used these boots every rotation. Usually go through two pair in six months (heavy foot movents), and I always have a set squirreled away in a go bag. Can’t wait for this run to hit the skreets!

Bought a pair after the whole I Am Legend craze and they’re basically a pair of Chuck’s on steroids. Would I go rucking in a pair? Probably not. But for a pair of super-light, kick-around, boots, you can’t go wrong.

Hnngghh. Those Tropicals are so sexy.

I’ll be the devil’s advocate here. IMHO they are fugly.

Palladiums are ugly. They’re like some sort of mutant generic shoe that everyone who’s never worn a pair of combat boots falls in love with. Good tip, just stay away from them unless you want to be identified with tryhard teenagers and college kids.
