ZEV Technologies Launches PRO Magwell for GLOCK 17 & 19

The new ZEV Technologies PRO Magwell is designed for the professional shooter that is looking for the competitive edge of a magwell with out the bulk of a Glock racegun.  This one-piece magwell is designed to fit both Gen 3 and 4 Glock frames.  Featuring a black smooth Anodized finish, it includes magwell, screw and wrench.

-The Magwell is flared at the base wider than the stock opening; this is ideal for quickly inserting the magazine in the pistol during reloads helping build proper muscle memory for improved consistency and reload time.

– The PRO Magwell is a great addition for any shooter looking for an edge with out the bulk flared competition style magwell.

-The addition of a magwell will help keep the users hand in place while shooting.

Hmm…instead of “designed for the professional shooter THAT is looking…”, how about they try “designed for the professional shooter WHO is looking…”.

Nothing like significant grammar errors to taint a company’s press release right from the outset. I can get over it, but it can still leave the seed of doubt in the mind of the purchase decision maker – “hmm..what else are they getting wrong?”

Does this magwell work with factory base plates?

  3. Greg says:

That magwell looks pretty nice, not too absurdly flared out. Unrelated note, looks like they’ve moved the absolute co-witness behind the RMR, SSD’s had it in front of the RMR.

  4. M says:

Unfortunately, these don’t look like they are compatible with the Gen 4 back straps in place. 🙁

  5. tom madere says:

Is a magwell really needed for a double stack single feed magazine. Isn’t the taper at the top of the magazine actually a magwell in reverse.

  6. Chris K. says:

Seriously, am I the only one who wants confirmation if factory base plates work with these? Zev please advise.

Nope, Its been a bit since this was written and I still can’t find out if they fit. Ugh.
