Geissele Automatics has given us a peak at what they’ll be releasing at SHOT Show.
They’ve been making optic mounts for a DOD customer since the Spring of this year and these mounts will be available in 2016.
There’s also a new ambidextrous charging handle and Aimpoint T1/T2 mount.
Finally, there’s an optic mount for the 50 BMG.

Now that I scan over the pics again I can see why the parts are bright as they contrast off the rest of the items they are attached to so well, one can clearly see what it is they are and what they do.
Most likely they will be anodized.

Type III hard coat anodized in black and DDC (desert dirt color) .

Some companies make new stuff in weird colors to stand out at shot show. Geiselle does have some purple stuff, atleast the wife’s company does.

On another note, I’m interested to see the attachment method for these mounts. Are they screw down or QD?
They’re not QD. The DOD customer that requested the mounts did not need it and jumped with their optics attached. That said, QD is in the future.
