If you’ve got an Arc’teryx jacket or pants made from Gore-Tex, they’d like to remind you to give it a little TLC.
At the end of each season it’s a great idea to do a visual inspection of your gear so, if needed, you can have it repaired and ready for next season!
-Open and close each zipper and inspect teeth for damage.
-Verify that all internal elastic drawcords (i.e. hood and hem) are in good shape.
-Inspect the outside of the garment

Interesting that they advocate a liquid detergent. I was under the impression that Gore products should be cleaned using powdered detergents (or a newer tech wash,) as the liquid could clog the Gore fabric.
double rinse..
It’s not the clogging. It’s how it acts with DWR.
Every Gore and eVent rep I’ve ever talked to says the exact opposite. Powder detergents are a death sentence to DWR and eTPFE membranes. Nikwax or Nathan tech wash only.
Love the Arc’teryx jackets but for the love of God hire someone, anyone who can make shirts, pants and shorts that fit. The only friends of mine who do fit into their clothing weigh around 150 or less.
I’m 5’9″ and a fit 180 lbs and I fit everything just fine.
My Arcteryx Alpha jacket is still waiting for it to actually rain here in California…
