What’s up with the white torso?

    • Fish says:

Yea I’m loving the camo…not so much the choice of paired color. It highlight the wearers “center mass”.

      • Kemp says:

Its time the industry rethinks which parts of a garment go underneath current minimalist body armor

      • SteveB says:

Agreed. Renders the camouflage ineffective. Truspec needs to change the torso to either tan 499 or ranger green.

    • JBar says:

      My pet peeve.

    • D.B. says:

Yeah, not exactly white but more of a light Tan…it appears the same shade Crye now uses on their G3 apparel in Tan. Wish they stuck with the sand color they used in now discontinued G2 (AC) – this was much more applicable and usable color. The new Tan just sticks out, it’s simply too bright.

Or you can choose the OPS Gen2 Improved Direct Action shirt in A-Tacs iX by UR-Tactical.

  3. Tomcat_AL200 says:

It is “sand” tan, but yes, waaaay too light. That is why I like Propper’s MC Combat shirt, the body is MC as well.

  4. Leon Vickers says:

What semi auto platform is that? And Omega suppressor?

  5. Low Vis Gear says:

Because of the light tan colour torso area, we picked up a set of the UR-Tactical Gen2 Improved Direct Action Shirt & field pants in the A-Tacs iX for use in Southern Australia.
iX is hands down the best cam pattern I’ve come across so far for this area.
Very effective, it blends much quicker at even shorter distances with the micro pattern over most others.

This actually shows how little coverage a minimalist plate carrier setup provides.

Most combat shirts are designed to be worn under a full coverage vest like an IOTV
