I know it sounds like the simplest thing, but in the wrong environment, wet gear can kill you. Kelty offers a waterproof breathable compression stuff sack, made from the same material as their VariCom bivy bag, so it’s the same green color. It comes in two sizes, Small which handles up to 11 liters and Large which will accommodate 27 liters.
In addition to the four compression straps on each bag, there is a roll top closure as well.
These are fully Berry compliant.

Breathable stuff sack? Awesome. My last sleeping bag kept complaining about sweating without being able to breathe through its stuff sack.
Don’t quit your day job. But seriously, they’re simply using the same material from their bivy sack. What advantage might that be? Well, they’re only buying one fabric instead of two.
The sack is probably “Air Permiable” meaning that you can seal it, say with a roll top style closure, then compress the sack. The air peri ability will then let the air escape. Other companies use eVent panels in this style compression sack for that reason.
Whar is that tent? Thats what I’m interested in 🙂

Looks a lot like the Mountain Hardwear Hunker 1 tent, actually. But the previous answer is likely correct. 😛
I think I read somewhere that the Hunker design was basically the same as the Solo assault tent. Basically the gov’t asked another subcontractor to make the same tent.
I have the solo assault. Its a good tent. I only use it in the snow.
I was just looking through some more information about it and it turns out Sierra designs makes one with the same design as well. I have one of the mountain Hardwear ones, and I’m trying to find a footprint for it, so far with no luck. :p Resorted to making one on my own for now.
