Anybody have these and can speak for wear and sizing.
TD must hammer my inbox twice a day with these adverts.
I did a write up on the CR 2.1 pants made out of the same material. I’m assuming sizing is the same:

MM,
Thanks, you are one of the few credible people I’ll take the time to read, plus you have pictures that actually show what something looks like.
I appreciate these pants having a decent retail price, and not hitting that affordable price range that dumb patrol grunts like myself can’t afford.
Does anyone know what the durability of this fabric is like? I’ve been tearing out the knees (no jokes please) of Kuhl RYDR pants just wearing them for light training and outdoors activities.
Thanks. Great write up and worth reading.
I notice you like the Pranas. I had a pair and liked them as well, then came across these Wranglers for about half the price that have been very impressive, worth checking out sometime: https://www.wrangler.com/shop/mens-performance-series-outdoor-cargo-pant-nw780
I have the CR 2.0s (2 pair). For me, they run slightly wide, but the length seems in line with my Levi jeans.
Carlos Ray’s blood type is AK-47.
Carlos Ray’s hands are protected under the 2nd Amendment.
Carlos Ray doesn’t drive cars, he flies trains.
Carlos Ray once went to Mars. That’s why there are no signs of life.
I’ve got about 8 pair of these by now, starting with the originals. They wear like PJs. The originals were almost too soft (in fact I tore a pair squeezing past a chalk board).
I concur with MMs thoughts on the “magazine” pockets. My phones barely fit in. They are good to hold some latex gloves, and that’s pretty much it.
I will for sure be taking a look at the cargo pocket version, but the main selling point for me with the originals is that I don’t look like I’m wearing 5.11s.
Is it just me, or does the rise of the waistline seem higher?
Good to see the CR continue to evolve and expand.
Wish list: Black and navy
CR 2.1 in Black is currently on Sale for like $17 on their website.
Thanks for the props. We made them in Black several seasons ago. Unfortunately, they did not sell well. We still have some in stock now. We are looking to make them in Navy soon.
I own several pairs of the non-cargos. It’s been a year, the pants are holding up great and are still super comfortable, but my only complaint are the cloth pockets, they are torn to shreds.
