I really like this as a next to skin lvl 1 layer. It does an awesome job of keeping me warm without overheating (and the materials used are perfect for body sweat/wet conditions), and it fits very well under my combat shirts and kit.. the hood is perfect for use under a helmet and doesn’t hurt like a beanie does, and if u don’t want the hood outside of your uniform, it’s slim enough it just disappears inside your top
