One of the things we really like about Off The Grid Concepts is that they don’t shy away from a challenge. Last week we saw that they built a holster for a Smith & Wesson Model 327 TRR8 with integrated sight and frame rails.

I like what they are doing, but I wouldn’t say that “they don’t shy away from a challenge” as I sent a request for a S&W J frame/Mag pouch and they were unable to do a holster for it. Hopefully they’ll keep expanding as I think that they have a lot to offer.
The issue Blackhawk is being worn out where the front sight drags during the draw. This will cause the front sight to snag and actually grab and prevent the gun from being drawn.
We figured an insert that the slide can “ride” along and that can be sewn into his Blackhawk or an LBT might fix that. Not too big a rush as we’re out of .45 so he’s had to resort to his Sig. (My favorite anyway.)
I saw this pic over at kitup yesterday and thought the same thing. It’s pretty cool to see stuff like this. Though Kitup apparently didn’t think it was very cool as they were talking major shit. Of course kitup has gotten super weak as of late.
@ N703, Apparently the MK23 isn’t “off the grid” enough. Looks like a bunch of kydex you can find at any gun show since it only takes a small investment and a few youtube videos to start making it yourself. These guys sound like they’re claiming the hipster title of the tactical world.

They certainly didn’t want to help out a deployed SEAL buddy with a kydex insert for a MK23.
“We don’t make holsters for the MK23.” was their response.

Was it a magpouch insert or a tuckable holster that you were trying to get together for the MK23?
