Ultra-Lekki Plate Carrier – or Ultra Light PC is SPECOPS.PL’s answer to the latest move toward webbing free PALS compatible carriers.
Consisting of a dual 750D Cordura laminate, the carrier is designed to carry two SAPI plates with the option of attaching side plates via MOLLE pouches.
Available in two sizes which corresponds to small/medium and large/x-large plates, the carrier weighs in at less than 400g.
Available in all SPECOPS colors.

Someone should let them know that their backplate is in upside down.
It’s not upside down. The labels and text are right side up, and the curvature makes sense the way it is too. It just doesn’t have the top corners cut like SAPIs.
A lot of people still use rectangular plates out there.
Actually the angled cut plate makes no sence on the back. It is bad enough that plates sit as low as they do on the back. You leave a lot of the upper spine exposed to injury. The system looks legit. Now if only I could of moved on my design four years ago.
Thanks for the correction, didn’t take the time to zoom on the labels. I guess they are showing the versatility of the carrier to accommodate different shaped plates.
Im inclined to agree with arrow 4 these minimalist carriers are great for Police or PSD teams riding in vehicles, anything requiring light weight and low visibility but I don’t think they are suited for carrying heavy loads during the daily grind of combat patrolling.
And also, multicam pattern is rotated 90 degrees on the front.
Interesting PC anyway.
Only missing: Quick Release, RescueHandle.

I can’t imagine having to wear that thing for very long. Obviously comfort was not a consideration in it’s design.
Reminds me of FirstSpear, I wonder if FirstSpear copyrighted the webbing free PALS setup.
Blue Force Gear also does this. First Spear’s 6/12 combines the slotted material with velcro backing, the 6/9 is the slotted material in the more traditional molle sense. Blue Force Gear just does the larger slot Molle Minus take. Their Plate Minus would be selling much better with a matching cummerbund instead of that strap nonsense.
Any idea of when it’s out? If my orders are cut for A-stan, I’d really like to try to get one of those…

Interested design, why do so many of you believe this isn’t a field capable carrier? Look at the success of the crye JPC and look at who is using the crye Airlite PC or S&S Plate Frame. These units are using them for field use in specialized missions. There is a reason companies are making ultra light weight carriers these days and it’s not just to make air softers look cool.
