Manufacturer to Highlight Apparel Items with Upgraded Technologies

Marietta, GA – October 21, 2014 – TRU-SPEC®, one of the leading suppliers of uniforms and personal equipment to the military, law enforcement and public safety markets, will be showcasing several of their new products, including H20 Proof Outerwear with improved technology, 24-7 Series® Ascent Pant and their line of Concealed Carry items at their booth (1541) at the 2014 IACP Annual Meetings, at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando Florida.

Understanding the importance and demand for protection against the elements, TRU-SPEC® will have on hand their H20 Proof Outerwear Collection – improved technology, constructed from a three-layer windproof, waterproof, breathable material, making it three times more breathable than the previous. In addition, TRU-SPEC® has incorporated Bemis high-quality, environmentally safe seam tapes for waterproofing sewn seams; with the understanding that seam tape is the critical link in the chain of waterproof protection.

“Our improved technology line of H20 Proof Outerwear is now covered under the TRU-SPEC® TRU-CONFIDENCE GUARANTEE,” stated Vice President of Marketing, Darrell Jacks. “The TTC Guarantee covers your H20 Outerwear for 2-years from the date of purchase; and if you are not completely satisfied with your TRU-SPEC® H20 Proof Outerwear for any reason, return it to TRU-SPEC® for a full refund of the purchase price. We always want to ensure that our first responders are taken care of to the best of our abilities with the best possible products.”
TRU-SPEC® will have on hand the entire H20 Proof Outerwear collection, which includes:

· Law Enforcement Parka
· Gen II ECWCS Parka
· Gen II ECWCS Rain Pant & Boonie
· All Season Rain Parka
· All Season Rain Jacket
· Cumulus Jacket*
· Element Jacket
· 3-in-1 Jacket
· 3-in-1 Parka

Also to be featured is the 24-7 Series® Ascent Pant. The cutting-edge and premium design provides superior comfort and move-ability. The inset cargo pockets and discrete reinforced knees provide a streamlined appearance, allowing for the sleek professional appearance. The pant also provides an easy access pocket behind each cargo pocket for storage of additional accessories necessary for every task. The Ascent pant is available in 6.5 oz 65/35 poly-cotton micro rip-stop fabric with 3% mechanical stretch, in black, navy, khaki and coyote.

“At TRU-SPEC®, we maintain an innovative and exciting approach to the apparel our first-responders wear, “stated Jacks. “We not only want to offer our tier-one law enforcement units a line of trusted apparel that matches their performance, but to support all public safety and law enforcement professionals. The IACP Conference is a way we can personally thank each of those men and women who put themselves in harms way to ensure our safety.”

Among the items to be highlighted at the TRU-SPEC® booth include the MultiCam Tropic™ and MultiCam Arid™ patterns, developed by Crye Precision, recently added to their popular Tactical Response Uniform selections, designed to meet the unique needs of Tactical Professionals, Law Enforcement and Special Operations personnel operating in high-risk environments. The MultiCam Arid™ pattern was developed to effectively reduce the visual and near-IR signature of a person operating in desert environments, which predominantly consist of open sand and rock. The MultiCam Tropic™ pattern was developed to reduce the visual and near-IR signature of a person operating in dense jungle environments; areas that predominantly consist of lush vegetation that remains relatively unaffected by seasonal changes. Both patterns join TRU-SPEC®’s current offerings of MultiCam® and MultiCam Black™.

I found a catalog for dealer. And I think the new H2O series is a upgrade or downgrade of the old weathershield series. Why have the 3-in-1 jacket and parka only a 2-layer and not a 3-layer membrane? loads of questions…

But the Ascent pant is very nice. You can buy them in some stores now and at LAPolice is a little review. A more tactical version of the 5.11 Stryke pant without the horrible 5.11 tacticool design. And I learned that Tru-Spec has better quality and longevity then 5.11 Tactical. For a lower price.

I will buy the Ascent as soon as possible. I think it will be a very nice upgrade for the original Lightweight Pant from Tru-Spec.
