Arc'teryx LEAF Talos LT Halfshell

We recently recommended the Arc’teryx LEAF Talos LT Halfshell and we just got these photos from Haley Strategic Partners that give you some good all around shots of the Talos LT to help you get a better feel for it. As it turns out there are a whole lot of other great products in these photos like carbines from Bravo Company USA featuring parts from B5 Systems as well as armor carriers and pouches from Mayflower Research and Consulting along with holsters from G-Code. You may also notice a lot of Kryptek camouflage in these photos including some cool custom combat pants from Australia’s Platatac, not to mention some interesting gloves from Outdoor Research.

Magpul Introduces Limited Edition ‘Colorado’ PMAGs

Tuesday, June 4th, 2013

With the upcoming ban on standard-capacity magazines in Magpul’s home state of Colorado and the seemingly never-ending assault on freedoms nationwide, they are releasing a short-run quantity of limited edition PMAGs. Proceeds from the sales of these PMAGs will go towards the legal battle against recent unconstitutional firearms legislation in Colorado and other firearms rights efforts nationwide in which Magpul is involved.

Identical in function to the GEN M2 MOE PMAG, these magazines feature the Magpul 10th Anniversary Logo on one side and either “Free Colorado” or “Boulder Airlift” on the other.

Demon Tactical Quick Pin

Thursday, May 23rd, 2013

20130523-170037.jpg

The Demon Tactical Quick Pin’s patent pending design eliminates movement between the upper and lower receiver of AR15 style firearm while also aligning the bolt carrier group with the buffer tube. The Quick Pin replaces the rear take down pin and expands inside of the upper receiver pulling it tight against the lower receiver which improves accuracy, reliability and function of the firearm.

No tools are needed to remove or install the pin once setup. Shooters can quickly remove the pin when field stripping and re-install even when wearing gloves.

Sneak Peek – OTG AR Trigger Guard

Monday, May 20th, 2013

Off The Grid Concepts LLC gave us a sneak peek at their upcoming trigger guard for AR-style rifles. Production variants will be CNC’d from aluminum and will be a little more rounded. And, as you will notice, it fills in the gaps left by mil-spec guards.

OTG Trigger Guard

You might notice the interesting geometry. According to OTG’s Rob Tran, “The hexed relief in the middle is a ideal point of rest for your finger during high port or if you reload muzzle up you can rest on the ledge.”
