2014 Spirit Of Blue Sweepstakes

The Spirit of Blue has partnered up with Craig Morgan and the Grand Ole Opry for a special Law Enforcement tribute to be played during the Opry Show on August 19th, during which safety equipment grants will be presented. They’ve launched a national sweepstakes with a range of prizes, the grand prize being two tickets to the Opry Show, including:

– Round-trip airfare
– 2-night hotel accommodations
– A personal tour of the Opry by Craig Morgan
– Admission to a VIP reception prior to the show

They’re looking for $15000 to launch a brand-new cashmere program which will utilize cashmere wool from local goat farmers in Afghanistan to create luxury scarves for First World markets. Through this effort, CFF looks to aid in developing a stable and self-sufficient economy in Afghanistan by encouraging Afghans to embrace enterprise through exportation, empowering millions of Afghanistan goat herders.

Michael Wratten, President of Shellback Tactical, has informed us that his nephew Andrew Wilson Wratten has been diagnosed with Neuroplastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. SERKET Racing – The Mission

Started by Llano and Randy Webb, SERKET Racing competes with the goal of raising awareness and assistance for military Veterans and their families. SERKET races a Porsche GT3 Cup 911 in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama, the largest single-make racing series in North America.

Tidewater Tactical 2014 Annual Golf Tournament

Tidewater Tactical is holding their 6th annual charity golf tournament. This year it is benefiting Special Operations Wounded Warrior. $100 per individual or $400 for a 4 person team on Friday, June 27th at Redwing Golf Course.

Ron Bellan And Mil-Tac Knives At Blade Show

Retired US Navy SEAL Ron Bellan (Reaper 01), host of the hit TV show Reaper Outdoors ‘Survive the Hunt’, will be at Blade show 2014 in Atlanta with Mil-Tac Knives and Tools June 6th – 8th. Ron will be on hand to talk about the proper use and care of knives, and will introduce the tanto blade used for the Special Operations Wounded Warrior annual hog hunt. Mil-TAC will be giving out free wristbands at the booth, and will be selling knives and Reaper apparel. A portion of all Reaper sales will go to SOWW.
