The design is similar to their Kydex CAT Tourniquet case, but they’ve introduced injection molding. This also allowed them to incorporate holes for more mounting options (including Raven Concealment’s ModuLoader and Paddles) as well as various ride positions.

Bottom Line:

The new RIGID TQ Case provides the same one-handed, one-step access to your tourniquet as their original Kydex CAT Case, but in a new, stronger, more modular design.

Raven Concealment Systems and Eleven 10 LLC Collaborate on New Low-Viz Blow-Out Kit

Wednesday, May 1st, 2013

This is literally a first-draft prototype of a low-vis blow-out kit Raven Concealment Systems is co-developing with fellow NE Ohio-based tactical company Eleven 10 LLC.

This kit is mounted on a Raven Concealment Systems ModuLoader Frames (a 5-finger Modular Frame).

The tourniquet carrier uses no straps or flaps, yet securely holds a CAT TQ in any position. The best part about this component is that it requires no secondary motions to deploy the TQ; simply grab the CAT and draw it from the carrier.

The mini-blow out kit uses a compact pull-out pouch containing a trauma dressing, Quick Clot Combat Gauze, Russell Chest Seal, and a pair of gloves.

The pouch design is only a proof of concept, and the production version will be much cleaner execution.
