EOTAC Clothing Update

EOTAC

I recently received a package of EOTAC’s new clothing. As many of you probably already know, the folks at EOTAC had previously designed and marketed clothing for another brand and while they still share some similarities (as do most of that market), there are some glaring differences. The most obvious is fit, and EOTAC has gotten it right. As soon as I slipped the pants on I noticed how much better the fit was from even the preliminary prototypes I had tried on over the summer.

EOTAC Tacti-Fit

The key to this change is their new proprietary Tact-Fit system. Details are still under wraps but from what I have gathered, EOTAC has taken the time to refine their fit based on anthromorphic data collected from American men at arms.

Additionally, EOTAC has introduced new fabrics and has tended to many of the small details they were unable to fix due to an obsession on the bottom line by their previous partners. Some examples of EOTAC’s improvements include superior color matching, correcting the placement of the knee pad pockets, and additional stitching on the trouser line. For the Field Jacket, the material has been improved and the cuff closure has been drastically improved from the variant they developed for a competitor. The entire line has been modified and enhanced and you will see more info over the next few weeks.

EOTAC’s ordering system is active. You can check out the clothing and order at www.eotac.com.

EOTAC Goes Camo

EOTAC

EOTAC is dipping their toe in the camo pond. They are releasing a French Lizard camo variant of the Men’s Operator Grade Field Jacket based on the French issued Algerian combat jacket. While not a 100% accurate reproduction of the jacket made famous by the French Foreign Legion, the new offering available in time for SHOT, provides an authentic look and feel. Great pains were taken to accurately reproduce both the pattern and material. While the swatch below is printed on ripstop material the final garment will be of HBT, just like the original. The Field Jacket is currently available in sizes Small – 3XL and Black, Coyote Brown, OD Green colors. Word also has it that more camo patterns are on the way.

Friday, July 4th, 2008

After the sneak peak we posted last week, we have gotten several inquiries for more info on the Denim Pants. They feature the same pocket layout as the original Discreet Pants developed by the EOTAC team meaning no large cargo pockets on the legs. Instead hidden, zippered pockets are located on the outside of the seams.

EOTAC Pants, Shirt, and Vest

I was just slipped some photos from a recent Elite Operator Tactical promotional shoot. These have not been released yet but it looks like EOTAC is poised to unleash their new line. I know a lot of people have been waiting to see this and we are all anxious to find out what they have come up with. If anyone has any first hand experience with the EOTAC line please contact me so we can get your impressions out to everyone. Based on the history of what happened and how EOTAC formed, this is the most anticipated releases this year.

EOTAC Trousers

Perhaps there are a few surprises in store for us. It appears from this photo that they also have tactical or concealable denim jeans in the works. I believe the black jacket is the Algerian that they were working on last year.

EOTAC Jeans

The new shirt looks roomy and just as professional whether untucked or tucked in.
