Kitanica Introduces The Shirt

At SHOT Show Kitanica exhibited a prototype of their newest garment, The Shirt and solicited input from attendees. Now, based on this feedback, they have slightly refined the design and introduced it to the market.

The Shirt also incorporates a double yoke, raglan shoulder construction along with a bi-swing back for enhanced mobility as well as pleated inset shoulder pockets with Velcro patches. Additionally, the angled chest pockets are pleated to lay flat. Finally, The Shirt can be worn out or tucked in and accepts removable elbow pads. Manufactured from a 7 oz 65/35 PolyCotton Ripstop, it makes a great lightweight companion for their PNT X.A.

Available in Small – XXLarge in Black.

Kitanica Unveiling Shirt at SHOT Show

Kitanica Releases Two New Jackets

The Mark I is the jacket that started it all and is still worn by Mythbusters star Adam Savage. Kitanica has just added Coyote to the lineup and it looks great. Additionally, they have developed a zip-in liner for their jackets. Truthfully, this fleece liner is a jacket in its own right and Kitanica has kept the cost down so that those that already own shells can buy it to complement their previous purchases. The fleece has received a water repellent treatment and is designed to zip into other Kitanica jackets as well as featuring special attachment points on the cuffs. Additionally, the pockets are accessible from both inside and out.

Kitanica PNT X.A Now Available in Khaki

Released initially in March, the popular Kitanica PNT X.A is now offered in Khaki.

PNT X.A are constructed of poly cotton Ripstop fabric and boast an arsenal of features unavailable on other tactical pants. The PNT X.A host 12 pockets including two rear expandable dump pockets. It also has PALS webbing on the hip as well as knees that are double reinforced with extra layers of Ripstop and 500 denier Cordura®. PNT X.As are also designed with a contoured waistband with 7 belt loops for a secure conforming fit. These pants retail for US $160.

Kitanica Mk I Jacket on Mythbusters

Adam Savage was captured wearing a Kitanica MARK I jacket on a recent episode of "Mythbusters" where they are testing whether a Slushie can kill someone when thrown out a car window at highway speeds (It's 2:00 into this clip). Adam's also the proud owner of a Kitanica MARK IV. In fact, overwhelming fan interest in Adam's MARK IV brought Kitanica back into the forefront.
