I’ve mentioned the OPFOR 5.56 magazine carrier in the past. It was great to meet the guys behind the brand.
One thing I find very cool about this polymer mag carrier is the PALS attachment mechanism that is built into the carrier. You just lay it on the webbing and click it closed. You can also stack them one atop the other. The lidless retention system holds the magazine fast with just a twist and pull to get it free.
Limitless Gear’s OPFOR Magazine Carrier is a magazine holster designed for AR-15 magazines. It features a lidless Positive Magazine Retention (PMR) system, which locks the magazine in place and allows for quick removal by applying a ‘twist and pull’ motion to the magazine. This eliminates the need for flaps or bungee cords for retention, and allows the user to mount their magazines in standard or inverted orientations. The OPFOR also features the Rapidly Scalable Equipment Ensemble (RSEE), which allows the user to mount and dismount the carrier from 2×2 PALS surfaces in seconds. Additionally, the OPFOR has attachment slots for stacking multiple OPFORs in a single configuration.

Rapidly Scalable Equipment Ensemble (RSEE \R-C\), which is a new MOLLE/PALS compatible attachment system. RSEE enables users to quickly and effortlessly adjust or transfer their loadout to adjust to changing mission requirements.
Positive Magazine Retention (PMR), which is a magazine retention technology that automatically locks magazines in place. To remove a magazine all the user has to do is apply a natural twist and pull. PMR is designed to eliminate the need for flaps or bungee cords which can obstruct access to magazines.
