Really wish they would have mounts for secondary TQ’s at 12 and 6. Elastic sleeve would be perfect.

Tourniquets should be carried on the front where it’s accessible with both hands. Since this IFAK is meant to be carried on the lower back you would be crazy to put your tourniquets back there. I for one rather have my IFAK as slim and low profile as possible. No need for elastic

yes, I agree. I have my cat strapped onto my MSM shear pouch with an OC Tac TQ holder on both the front of my belt and chest rig/pc. seconds matter when it comes to massive hemorrhage control.

Hence why I said secondary. Standard for us is TQ front upper chest…which I do. But, I would like to be able to carry multiple TQ’s, preferably located in the same spot as my med kit. I’ve currently use the LBT offering, which has proven to be a great piece of kit.

        • Gentlemen, when I first designed the flat IFAK about 3 years ago, we took this into consideration. That’s why I designed our Quick Eject TK carrier to mount it to the front of your vest for quick and easy access in a panic situation. Note that our flat IFAK has elastic Web at the bottom that allows you to attach our TK carriers externally. It can be inverted to mount these at the 12 or 6. However, the flat IFAK was designed with space to put your additional TK inside. My thought was that you may as well pull the kit which has easy access straps rather than fish for TK pouch. Also note that we had MOLLE on the outside to mount such pouches particularly if it was to be used as a side mounted or front mounted pouch. I appreciate the input and am not saying one way is better than another. We have made multiple versions of this product for multiple agencies and multiple the countries. We can always do custom runs for an agency. Always improving and adapting…
