3 New MultiCam Fabrics at SHOT Show

 

Three new MultiCam fabrics from 1947, LLC at the Crye Precision booth #32403 next week at Shot Show.

Soar Coat™ Plus is a 30D 1.1oz nylon – Silicone coated on both sides, soft, quiet and packable, 64” cuttable. It’s a high performance coated fabric with a durable silicone coating. It is precision engineered for consistent performance and dependability. It is tested and certified for reliability. The fabric characteristics include light weight, zero air permeability, waterproof, high breaking strength and a tear resistant ripstop weave.

Alpha Terry fabric is an 8.0 oz single sided fleece. nIR compliant – 100% Polyester soft-shell, fleece backed with a DWR finish. This is a durable fabric and will provide good range of motion for the user. The inner surface of this expedition weight fabric is brushed for against-the-skin comfort and the jersey outer surface provides ease of layering. This fabric is ideal for providing comfort in extreme weather.

500 Denier Westridge™ CORDURA® RIP-STOP – Same as standard 500D but with the surface interest of rip-stop. Abrasion resistant, urethane coated with a DWR finish. Ideal for tactical vests and packs.

    It sounds like that Soar Coat Plus would be a great exterior layer if someone was going to make a DIY version of the Norwegian Jerven Fjellduken

    The 1.1oz has been arround for a while, have made a few tarps and drybags with it. Ripstopbytheroll are the lads to talk to.

    Crye pushing the envelope! Awesome, can’t wait to see some applications for these.

    I’m pretty sure that microfleece is used on Arcteryc Leaf Atom SVs.
