What’s up with the black Velcro patches?

maybe they want to give the opposition a sporting chance at spotting you?

nobody who wears this will be expecting war fighter environment. this is for tacti cool hunters and urbananites with too much money. quality kit but really…

This is a range jacket. Nothing more, nothing less.

If the user actually needed winter concealment the Crye overwhites are sold on their website for under half this cost.

Just when I though I had my camo OCD in check- Thanks.

Forgive me, but that stuff is just so expensive and tacti-cool. I really like how it looks, but I’m not sure I could even ever buy any of it. Even at 1/4 of the price, it would be hard to buy.

There are only three certainties in life. Death, Taxes, and people complaining that everything doesn’t cost $10. Some people like to buy quality gear that’s not made from Chinese slave labor and falls apart after three months.

I’ve never bought a Kitanica product so I can’t say they are good/bad. If I’m going to drop serious coin I do it through Arcteryx Leaf.

      • NWJeep says:

Doesn’t want to buy Chinese made gear. Opts for Vietnamese made with LEAF. 3/10 wouldn’t listen to.

Esthetically I would also prefer white velcro rather than black. They have the same setup for their shorts in MC Arid and Tropic. It’s less inconvenient with MC Tropic, which has a darker tone so I bought one also it made me hesitate a bit. But for a white themed camouflage it seems really irrelevant, I think they should change this and have the velcro colou match the overall theme.

I have been eyeing the MK VI for some time (would like it in black) but have not found a decent review of it, anyone have a link?
