SHOT Show 2018 – CZ USA

IMG_0287

The Scorpion EVO III S2 Micro was developed at the behest of an undercover drug interdiction unit for a smaller, suppressed Scorpion SMG. It features a 4″ barrel and an HB industries handguard. CZ states that the S2 Micro with its purpose-built suppressor is shorter than a standard Scorpion with “one of the most popular micro 9mm cans on the market” by nearly 3″, and can spit out 147gr 9mm loads at well under 130 dB. CZ will be releasing a civilian-legal pistol version of this variant, dubbed the Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro Pistol /w Brace, this coming Summer. It will come complete with a NoOsprey faux suppressor from SilencerCo, and a telescoping SB Tactical arm brace.

The suppressor itself, dubbed the S2 TI Reflex, was developed with assistance from Aerocharger Ballistics. A fully-welded titanium suppressor, the S2 TI Reflex sports a 2″ reflex blast chamber, and weighs only 9.6 oz. CZ will also release a stainless steel model made of 17-4, with similar performance, but a weight increase to 15.36 oz.

Any word on the BREN 2?

  2. DangerMouse says:

So, are they actually going to sell cans to civilians in the US? I thought you couldn’t import cans?

I guess, now that most states allow hunting with suppressors Trump should get them to rule suppressors as having a “sporting purpose” now.

One, Its made in the US, it literally says CZ USA everywhere on this page. Two we can already buy suppressors here in the US. Sorry you have dumber gun laws than we do. And three, just re-read the article, the civilian version of this will have a different name, and have a FAUX suppressor. If u don’t know what faux means just look it up dude.

      • DangerMouse says:

I’m sorry you aren’t very familiar with CZ. You see, CZ USA has historically been an importer, not a manufacturer. CZ Custom (also in the USA) on the other hand has recently started manufacturing some guns.

Also, I am in the US, I think you misread my rather poorly worded message. By using the word “you” I was referring to the importer, not the buyer. As a US Citizen in a free state, I own suppressors. So I am fully aware of the situation here.

Good job Dan. You managed to step on your crank pretty damn effectively.

  3. Dang Dan, we’ve a higher standard as Dan’s to uphold. Get it together, buddy!
