IMG_0725

The Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro Pistol is a civilian-legal, semi-auto pistol version of the Evo III S2 Micro SMG, a specialized suppressed Evo variant designed for an undercover drug interdiction unit. The S2 Micro pistol comes with a 4″ barrel and an HB industries M-LOK handguard, as well as a Manticore Arms telescoping arm brace, designed in conjunction with SB Tactical. Like the original Evo 3, the S2 Pistol features CZ-USA’s low-profile iron sights, a top-mounted Picatinny rail, ambidextrous controls, and a swappable, ambi charging handle.

For those curious about the hardware on the muzzle, the S2 Micro comes with a faux suppressor manufactured by SilencerCo, cleverly dubbed the ‘NoOsprey’.

CZ-USA is also displaying a new 30-round polymer magazine for the Scorpion. It features a black polymer body with translucent panels on both sides to allow shooters to quickly gauge their round count. This magazine will be made available later in the year.

The Scorpion EVO III S2 Micro was developed at the behest of an undercover drug interdiction unit for a smaller, suppressed Scorpion SMG. It features a 4″ barrel and an HB industries handguard. CZ states that the S2 Micro with its purpose-built suppressor is shorter than a standard Scorpion with “one of the most popular micro 9mm cans on the market” by nearly 3″, and can spit out 147gr 9mm loads at well under 130 dB. CZ will be releasing a civilian-legal pistol version of this variant, dubbed the Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro Pistol /w Brace, this coming Summer. It will come complete with a NoOsprey faux suppressor from SilencerCo, and a telescoping SB Tactical arm brace.

The suppressor itself, dubbed the S2 TI Reflex, was developed with assistance from Aerocharger Ballistics. A fully-welded titanium suppressor, the S2 TI Reflex sports a 2″ reflex blast chamber, and weighs only 9.6 oz. CZ will also release a stainless steel model made of 17-4, with similar performance, but a weight increase to 15.36 oz.

Teaming up with the airflow specialists at Aerocharger, they developed their own suppressor which offers the performance of larger, bulkier cans but in a much lighter, shorter package.

A fully-welded titanium can, the S2 Ti Reflex is designed to fit under an HB Industries handguard, allowing it to have a 2” reflex blast chamber and giving it the volume of much larger cans while only protruding from the muzzle 5.83 inches. Weighing in at just 9.6 ounces, it spits out 147 grain defensive loads at well under 130 dB.

SHOT Show 17 – CZ-USA

CZ-USA’s newest pistol, the P-10 C, takes a few design cues from the like-sized Glock 19: mid-sized striker fired handgun with a safe action-style trigger, a slide lock just like Glock series pistols, a Glock-esque accessory rail, and it’s even reported to fit in the same holsters as the G19. Still, it’s not a one-for-one copy. The trigger, for example, does feel better than a stock Glock trigger with a clean break and reset, and the grip texture is fairly rough for improved grip retention; a bit-but-not-quite-like the RTF2 texture. The barrel is cold hammer forged, and the slide features front and rear cocking serrations. The P-10 C also features a “deep” beavertail and comes with replaceable backstraps. To top it off, the P-10 C utilizes the same magazines as the hammer-fired P-07, with a standard 15+1 capacity, or 17+1 with an extended base, in 9mm. The P-10 C is also offered in .40 S&W with a 12+1 capacity.
