All new for 2018 the Wind Cheater returns in Multicam! Constructed from 330D ambush the Wind Cheater is a unique garment very light in weight, breathes like a t-shirt yet still sheds wind and light precipitation thanks to a DWR coating.
The Wind Cheater features a long tail great for colder days with just the right height on the front for easy access to belt mounted accessories. Oversized hood works well with hats or helmets with a wide range of bungee adjustment for user defined fit. Two large bicep pockets, pit zips and torso pockets allow for exceptional ventilation when required.
Available in Multicam while supplies last! Black, Ranger Green, Coyote, and Manatee Grey also available. Made in the USA!

Is there any other difference than the cuff tab?
I mean difference from the older gen?
It doesn’t appear so.
I’m glad it’s being offered in MC again!
I just looked at my old generation MC windcheater which is from a couple years ago when they were made in El Salvador.
My copy has MC Velcro on the shoulder pockets… That and the different style cuff appears to be the only difference.
Mine also came with MC velcro.
A great piece of kit.
I prefer the HPG version (made by First Spear) for the pocket placement and coyote ruff option, but if you want MC, this is your only option!
FWIW, HPG sells a DIY zipper kit for attaching a coyote ruff. That would make for a very slick late season hunting jacket.
Hmmm. This has me wondering if I could put one on my Otte Gear Alpine Jacket….
I’m not sure why my previous comments were not approved…..
BS, the only difference I van see (from comparing my older FS Windcheater made in El Salvador) is that the Velcro used is also MC pattern.
I have both a MC windcheater by FS, and the Hill People Gear version (made by FS) which has a different pocket layout and can add a coyote ruff.
A heads up to anyone with a FS Windcheater. You can buy a DIY zipper kit from HPG to add a ruff to your FS version.
A multicam windcheater, and coyote ruff would make an excellent late season hunting outerlayer.
WHOOPS. the previous comments disappeared. My apologies for the duplicate posts.
I wish they would add just a couple inches of length in front to aid in concealing appendix carried items. That and a side cut with some stretch fabric to aid in drawing said items.

Bought this (GEN I) a year ago in Manatee Gray.
Here are a few observations for those thinking about getting this…
– Fabric pilling occurred where pack straps rub – oddly only on one side,
the other side is fine.
– Wrist velcro (loop side) wears out very quickly.
– Forearms are very tight fit – I can only wear it with short sleeve shirts..
If you are Popeye, forget about this.
– Listed as being DWR, however NO water beads up on it – it is quite
absorbent.
