Had two pairs of these for about six months, too tight in the crotch and would ride up constantly. No fly either. Shame, I really wanted to keep them for being USA made. First Spear should revise these.
The First Spear performance briefs are great for hot weather and haven’t had any issues with chafing or bunching. I’ve noticed the stitching in the waistband does not feel the most secure and the elastic can feel overly forgiving. I purchased these in December, and both pairs are still going strong.
The major problem with “performance materials” is that it leads to what’s affectionately referred to as “the sweaty walnut” syndrome, and sometimes “swamp-ass”. While they’re great for anti-chafe/anti-abrasion, they’re not so good for ventilation.
What if somebody needs less room in the front panel? …

Thats a helluva price, in fact thats the same price as my favorite imported undies. Definitely going to give these a try.
It would be cool if FS made these out of their American Merino wool. I agree 100% with SGT Rock, synthetic underwear can be miserable.
