    Do these cases have some kind of tab or notch in the lid that the panel’s locking lug integrates with or is it friction fit? If the latter, are there plans to expand to 1700 and iM series cases?

      They have hard points for screw mounting different accessories. They’re maybe .5″ deep x.5″ diameter with threaded holes. Pelican makes a variety of organizers for them( ex. 1659 lid organizer for the 1650 case).
