Compact (2.3” x 6” x 3.5”) and lightweight (1.4lbs), the Universal Battery Charger Lite offers two cable-free charging port for each of the following batteries: BB-2590, AN/PRC-148 or AN/PRC-152, CWB and USB devices. USB charging causes so much confusion recently because there are “slightly more” standards these days than just a classic (now – outdated) 5V output. I had to gut the Ridgid USB charger and replace the over-engineered and yet incapable circuit with a module I’ve got for $2 from eBay to get fast-charging modes available. Really hope that this nicely designed brick isn’t stuck in the past in terms of that.
