It would be nice if they added Country of Origin on these releases, especially when billing an optic as fit for military applications. I’m assuming they aren’t “Made in the USA” or they would say that instead of “Assembled” and that’s fine, but if they are not made in a TAA compliant country, the US military can’t procure them.
It would be nice to see new, innovative TAA compliant optics, it’s an area where there has been very little progress in the last decade, while non-compliant optics advertised as being made for those applications are proliferating. As a result, there has been little competition outside of brands that have sat atop that market for a long time. Given the speed at which Sig has advanced the industry in many areas, I hope they continue to innovate in optics with US or allied made solutions.
The ROMEO8T-AMR and associated JULIET3T-AMR is Made in USA.
Awesome! That is great to hear and the direction folks need to be going! They should put that in their press releases!
Guess Ill be picking one up.
Do we know if the magnifier is what activates the reticle change or if it is the mount?
Primarily concerned if I can use a Unity mount with these!
It’s magnets in the mount.
