Friday, October 21st, 2016

The Roland Special is a Glock configuration made famous on Primary and Secondary and it’s become a “thing”. If you’re not familiar, it’s worth reading up on. My friend Chris Mudgett did a good write up over at Guns & Ammo. At any rate, P&S has commemorated the gun with this T-shirt by Magpul. Available in any color as long as it’s Black.

Pray For Tom

Monday, October 17th, 2016

Some of you may know Tom Greer personally, but many will know him from his nom de plum, Dalton Fury.

Tom Greer has done a lot to make our lives better.

He protected us, spending his youth in the Army, tackling some of the most challenging assignments available. Then, he informed us, telling the story of the hunt for Bin Ladin when no one else would. Later still, he entertained us, authoring a popular series of novels featuring a former special operator.

Now is our chance to give back.

You see, Tom has been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and unfortunately, there’s really not a lot to say about that.

However, Tom’s family has created a Facebook page for him, as he deals with his illness. Please go and like it and do whatever it is you do, whether it’s praying or sending out positive vibes, think about Tom Greer.  Please let him know how much you appreciate everything he’s done for us.

ITS Agents Morale Patch Set

Thursday, October 13th, 2016

Having grown up reading Mad magazine and then served in the intelligence community, how can I not love this? Furthermore, how ironic that Mad magazine prepared me all too well for my IC service.

How Cool Is That?

Thursday, October 13th, 2016

I really like Thirty Second Out’s ‘Victory’ print, depicting actor Robert Duvall in his iconic role as Col Kilgore in ‘Apocalypse Now’. Apparently, so does he.  He signed one of the prints and it will be auctioned off to raise money for the World of Honor fund early next year, but you can get yours now at thirtysecondsout.com/products/poster-victory.

That’s A Cool Patch

Hopefully, I won’t have to wait as long for one of these bad boys as I’ve had to for a Mod 2.

Kinetic Development Group – Moral Compass

Tuesday, October 11th, 2016

I’ve loved compasses since I was in Scouting as a kid. Sure enough, the guy at KDG who came up with this is also a former Scout. That’s probably why the Moral Compass from Kinetic Development Group struck a chord with me.

I carry a small, similar compass on my person, anytime I’m in the back country or more than an hour away from home. But, I think I’m going to replace it with this one and also get one for each of my sons, to remind them to always stay on the path.

A compass can only point you in the right direction, it can’t make you go there…

Some people already have a moral compass, others could certainly use one! For those that need one, KDG is happy to announce our new solid brass compass!

No one likes to feel lost in life, and at times it can be hard to keep your bearings. The KDG Moral Compass helps find direction. While it can’t replace that inner sense which distinguishes what is right from wrong, it will serve as a reminder to use good judgement. Built off of a traditional Marble’s® brass body compass, our Moral Compass shares the legacy of great men and adventures worldwide. Undaunted men such as Teddy Roosevelt carried similar compasses on remote expeditions, safaris, and big game hunts. Arctic Explorers Admiral Perry and Byrd often trusted a neck worn compass on treks to the North and South Pole. They have been carried by Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airman for decades all across the world. When you are in a tough spot, our Moral Compass will show you the way out!

Day or night, in the dark woods or a dimly lit nightclub, our Moral Compass with guide you. The brass construction and crisp lettering makes this a great present for your friends, family, and anyone you want to send a subtle message to that might have lost their way.

Specs:
-Solid Brass Bar Stock Construction
-Precision Machined
-Strong, Malleable, Waterproof
-Ultra Smooth Agate Jewel Bearing
-Virtually Shatterproof Crystal
-Revolving Black Face
-Luminous Green Letters

CeleGear Offers New Take On Paracord Bracelets

Thursday, October 6th, 2016

CeleGear was founded by an Army Veteran and civilian EMT after he started making paracord bracelets which incorporated the American flag. He would give these away to friends and visitors who trained with his agency. Since he started the practice in 2010, demand has grown and he expanded his passion into a business. Along with that,he developed the ability to incorporate custom designs into his creations.

In fact, they can produce virtually anything you can dream up.

Check them out.
