Responsibilities and Qualifications
Our Eagle Industries Inc. Virginia Beach, VA facility is seeking a Product Design Engineer II to add to our team. The Product Design Engineer II will be responsible for developing nylon soft good products for our Vista Tactical Nylon brands. This position will work closely with all facets of our business: marketing, sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, scheduling, and operations to assure coordinated transition of products to manufacturing. The ability to lead projects and work in cross functional teams is essential.

Responsibilities, Including but not limited to:

• Position will require taking nylon soft good product designs from concept through production.

• Uses computer-assisted design/drafting including pattern making and CAD software to develop designs.

• Approves final samples of proposed projects, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.

• Travel to manufacturing facility (Puerto Rico), trade shows, and vendor visits.

• Able to evaluate current market trends and identify future needs for new projects.

• Utilize knowledge of various sewing and cutting machines, design practices, mathematics, nylon, webbing and other materials and other physical sciences to complete designs.

• Responsible for maintaining an organized design file system.

• Participate in concurrent design reviews.

• Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, materials lists, specifications and other documents.

• Create and revise technical drawings.

• Develop Quality Control and inspection criteria for new products.

• Evaluate and solve production problems.

• Train sewers/assemblers or conduct training to introduce new processes.

• Prepare/manufacture prototypes as required.

• Must allow time studies and product design processes videotaping.

• Additional duties assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience general engineering or product development

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Creative Design, Industrial Design, or Engineering in related field

• Basic sewing skills with multiple types of machinery

• Strong project management skills

• Experience guiding interdepartmental teams

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Proficient in pattern design software

• Must be a self-starter and results oriented

• Experience with accessory products for shooting sports, Military/LE, etc. a plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works with executive management team to develop strategies and goals for the Company’s marketing efforts

Massif is seeking an experienced Director of Design and Development to provide direction and creative vision for the Company’s apparel and textile development while sustaining and communicating the Company’s design aesthetic and high-level performance across all products. Support the Company’s vision, strategies, and goals by working collaboratively through the design process using problem solving, relationship building and creative and critical thinking. This position reports to the Company’s Vice President & General Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Owns and leads the 10+ person design and sample making team through working with cross functional teams to create performance apparel that meets or exceeds our customer’s expectations
• Creates and presents new product concept roadmaps, product designs, and line plans based on comprehensive knowledge of customers, technologies, and performance apparel industry
o In collaboration with Sales, researches and tracks new garment technologies to support the Company’s strategic goals and objectives. Ensures all risks related to growth are identified.
o In collaboration with Textiles & Technology and Sales teams, exchanges information regarding market analysis, trends, new technologies, and customer feedback for market growth. Ensures all risks related to growth are identified.
• Participates in executive level strategic planning sessions
• Accomplishes department and company objectives by effectively managing the Design and Development Team and evaluating department activities

We are looking for a Global Sales Manager – SOF to join our SITKA team in Bozeman, Montana. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and profitable growth of the SOF global B2B (Business-to-Business) sales & distribution channel.

Responsibilities:
• Managing all aspects of SOF global B2B seasonal sales planning and execution
• Owning the SOF B2B customer profile and be the subject matter expert on MIL-GOV-LE B2B specialty single channel and multi-channel sales and distribution
• Maintaining and executing a sales and distribution roadmap that aligns with company/category growth plans and addresses opportunities for continuous process/systems improvements and scaled growth
• Managing seasonal forecasting, demand planning and in-season “Open To Buy” inventory
• Initiating the seasonal “sell in” of product lines to include being responsible for pricing, pre-season terms, and the external communication of seasonal “Go To Market” tools to support customer marketing efforts
• In collaboration with a global dealer-distributor customer network, initiating a coordinated seasonal “sell-through” of seasonal product lines and be prepared to support key sales accounts at regional and international tradeshows
• In collaboration with an Integrated Sales Team, ensuring that order book management is conducted in an efficient and effective manner
• In collaboration with the Integrated Product Team, ensuring that ongoing customer feedback identifying MIL-GOV-LE consumer trends is provided to shape seasonal product line planning
• Maximizing customer and, when appropriate, consumer relationships in the domestic and international MIL-GOV-LE market space
• Being responsible for tracking sales associated KPI’s to specifically include sales, profitability, and inventory sell-through metrics

Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years MIL-GOV-LE B2B sales and distribution channel experience in a company or program that has achieved a minimum of $10M USD in sales within a designated fiscal year
• Strong time management skills, strong analytical skills, and excellent communications skills
• Bring proactive in identifying the root cause of an issue and developing a creative solution
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a cross-functional team
• Agile and flexible with multiple competing priorities
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% (i.e. tradeshows, key account visits, business development)

Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business
• MIL-GOV-LE service experience, preferably in a specialist capacity (i.e. Special Operations Forces – Hostage Rescue Team – Emergency Response Team)
