Enoch Industries Introduces the ODIN Chassis System, a Lightweight Chassis for the 10/22 Platform

Wednesday, June 19th, 2019

Spring Creek, TN, June 17, 2019 – Enoch Industries, designer and developer of top-tier firearm components, has recently unveiled their first product, the ODIN Chassis System, a lightweight and versatile system for the 10/22 platform. Weighing in at only 12.2 oz, this chassis system incorporates current AR-15 attachment standards, giving users a new level of function that standard 10/22 platforms fail to deliver.

The only 10/22 chassis available on the market with a Picatinny rail at the back, the ODIN Chassis System provides a better option for attaching a new standard of stocks and pistol braces. This flexibility features a smaller footprint and offers considerable weight savings over the standard receiver extension and buttstock combos. Machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, The ODIN Chassis System provides a rigid, no-compromise platform for building or upgrading a precision rifle or pack-lite pistol.

“This new chassis fills the gap in the market for a lightweight, modular system for the 10/22 platform,” said Joseph Sudderth, CEO of Enoch Industries. “While on the hunt for a lightweight chassis to upgrade a 10/22, we couldn’t find anything on the market that fit the bill. So we set out to design one that provided the flexibility and versatility that we needed, and the ODIN Chassis System was born.”

The ODIN Chassis System is designed to give competition shooters and 10/22 enthusiasts the freedom to customize their build for any number of unique setups. In the front of the chassis, MLok slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock allow for the addition of a variety of accessories while two steel, 360° quick disconnects on both sides of the chassis are ideal for running sling attachments. The ODIN Chassis System includes a grip adapter that closes the gap from the grip to trigger housing, keeping the transition to a minimum and providing a more enjoyable shooting experience. The chassis accepts all non-beavertail AR-15 grips, although some beavertail grips are compatible with minor modifications to the grip. The ODIN Chassis System also fits all standard, non-takedown receivers excluding the Supergrade. Other notable ODIN Chassis System specs include:

• Material: 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum

• Weight: 12.22 oz (including all hardware)

• Dimensions: 12.75” (L), 1.5” (W), 1.5” (H)

• Stocks: 3 Picatinny slots at the rear of chassis

• Attachments: MLok slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock

• QD Inserts: 2 nitrided 360° steel inserts

• Barrel channel inner dimension: 1.015″

• Barrel lengths: Using a 6″ barrel brings the threaded muzzle to .575″ past the handguard, exposing threads for silencers.

The new ODIN Chassis System is available online to customers in the US (excluding Puerto Rico) for an MSRP of $225 and includes the ODIN Chassis in anodized black along with all required hardware. XTECH TACTICAL Once Again Raises the Bar for US AK Magazines

Sunday, June 9th, 2019

June 7th, 2019

Mesa, AZ – XTech Tactical, a rapidly growing firearms accessory manufacture, announces the release of two new core offerings in its AK magazine line up.

First in the lineup is the MAG47mil “Militia Special” which is the strongest US Made rifle magazine ever made. The MAG47mil was developed in response to a consumer torture test completed at the request of XTech Tactical. The company requested that consumers compare the MAG47’s durability to the legendary Bulgarian and Russian military issued magazines.

Not surprisingly, Spent Brass, a firearms social media channel, performed more brutal testing than the operators who had tortured the MAG47s for months prior to its release.

The MAG47mil features: Stainless Steel Feed-lips, a solid machined steel rear lug, stainless steel spring, extremely durable polymer, easy field stripping, and is 3 922r compliant components. MSRP for the MAG47mil is $34.95 and they are now shipping!

XTech Tactical is also extending its partnership with Gun Owners of America to donate $1 per MAG47mil sold off its website, as it currently does with it OEM47 10/30 and MAG47 10/30.

“We are proud to share that the MAG47mil was developed as a result of our direct interaction with consumers. With the ever-rising costs of the beforementioned options, we are very excited to continue to raise the bar for US AK magazines while supporting the fight to retain our standard capacity rights”, stated Jeremy Deadman, XTECH TACTICAL’s Director of Sales and Marketing.

The second new release from XTech Tactical is an entry level option for its AK47 magazine line up, the OEM47. The OEM47 is also Made in the USA and features the same geometry and flawless feeding as the MAG47 line without the steel reinforcements. The OEM47 is a great option for those seeking magazines for recreational use. The OEM47 MSRP is $14.95, and they are now shipping!

Friday, June 7th, 2019

B0E66214-38EC-4B04-9E64-A15B8C721E0A

For years, serious shooters have been executing DIY modifications to their WML switches. Using JB Weld, putty, or epoxy, shooters have been improving their speed and consistency of WML activation by building up the small switch nubs on their lights. Drawing on those years of end-user experience, PHLster is excited to announce the launch of their ARC Enhanced WML Switches.

Shipping as a set of three pairs of switch enhancements, the ARC allows users to decrease the distance between activation fingers and switches, optimize their light for right or left handed use, improve speed and consistency of activation based on their preferred method, and reliably engage the WML switches with gloved or wet hands.

Each set of switch enhancements includes a Large, Extra Large, and Extra Large Blank set of switches. The L and XL are both aggressively textured and the XL Blank allows users to shape, carve, and stipple the switches to fit their specific requirements, while remaining within a holster-friendly dimension.

If you have short fingers, are tired of compromising your grip to activate the WML, dislike grip switches, need more reach to activate the switches when installed on certain pistols, or just want to make WML activation faster and easier, the PHLster ARC is a necessary upgrade.

Switch installation is easy and requires no permanent modification. The stock switch nubs are easily removed with pliers or a small screwdriver and the enhanced switch end- caps press on to the switch armature bar. And, the ARC switch enhancements fit pretty much every decent WML holster on the market, including Safariland and many, many others.

Introducing the New Sheriff of Baghdad MFQD swivel B-Sling

Tuesday, June 4th, 2019

June 3, 2019 – SOB Tactical is proud to announce the latest addition to the B-sling line up, the new MFQD. The MFQD, (Movement Free Quick Detach) swivel solves the problem of excessive movement common to nearly all QD swivels on the market. The MFQD Swivel is available now at SOBTactical.com.

When QD swivels were first repurposed from the sporting market to the tactical world, they retained the “swivel” loop attachment commonly used on rifles for the last 100 years. This movable bail swings like a bucket handle, and has been prone to failure under load and heavy use. If the movable bail loop fails, the release button will eject and will lose its ball bearings rendering the entire QD is useless. Shrek has seen this failure occur numerous times, and has separated the working systems to insure less failures by making it an unbreakable one piece.  Additionally, when slinging a carbine to go hands-free and releasing positive control of the weapon, the weight and position of the weapon shifts and sags with the legacy design. This unwanted movement is greatly reduced by the MFQD.

Constructed from Billet 7075 T6 Aluminum and Milspec Anodized, the MFQD features a single, solid body construction that follows the profile of the weapon. The unique triangular shape is rounded and streamlined to reduce snags, and sits low to the weapon wherever attached. Internally, the MFQD features tempered stainless steel bearings and release spring for longevity, reliability and corrosion resistance.

“Our new MFQD is specially designed for combat arms of all types,” said John “Shrek” Mcphee, owner of The Sheriff of Baghdad Tactical. “We developed the smartest solution to the movement challenge of every other QD swivel on the market.”

Paired with the classic SOB Tactical B-sling, the new MFQD swivel creates a winning combo. McPhee has been developing B-slings for more then 20 years, each one with the gunfighter in mind. From Bosnia to Iraq and Afghanistan, the B-Sling has proven itself countless times on the battlefield.

“Our new B-sling with MFQD swivel is simple, practical and uses minimal materials to keep the weight and bulk down unlike the many ‘over engineered’ sling designs that have flooded the market in recent years,” continued McPhee.

Versatile enough for any rifle, it is extremely intuitive to use allowing quick adjustments with your non-firing hand using the lanyard release equipped buckle. With this design, the adjustment buckle remains in the exact same position regardless of how loose or tight the sling is, so you’ll never have to search for it or take your eye off target. Simply pull the free end near the lanyard towards your body to tighten. Grab the lanyard and push rifle to firing position to loosen and shoot. The MFQD B-sling employs “Quick to shoot” (Q2S™) technology as this is the most important function of any rifle sling in combat, to get the weapon back into the fight instantly from an administrative mode of carry.

The new MFQD is available now at sobtactical.com, in Black, Coyote, Ranger Green, Multicam and Multicam Black, with more colors coming soon. Each sling comes with a color matched combat band for sling stowage. For dealer and distributor inquiries, please contact sales@sobtactical.com All B-slings are made with pride in America with 100% Berry compliant materials, by Americans who are blind.

Tyrant Designs Announces

Saturday, June 1st, 2019

Tyrant Designs CNC introduces a new chapter in compensator history with the addition to their first series production for the Sig Sauer P365, their SIG P365 T-Comp Compensator. Images and details of their P365 compensator can be seen on their website www.tyrantcnc.com. This new model is extreme on every level as it represents a new direction for compensator design. Utilizing a two piece design Tyrant has eliminated the need for set screws or loctite, instead using a housing & stem concept that is self containing.

During an up close look of the compensator one can tell the use of dual chambers that run .250” in depth. Overall dimensions line up perfectly to the profile of the P365, adding about .750 of an inch past the end of the slide.

The Tyrant Designs P365 T-Comp is also the first compensator made specifically for the Sig P365, promising unparalleled performance against the more traditional & one size fits most comps. Their product description reads as below;

The Tyrant Designs CNC Sig Sauer P365 Compensator, known as the P365 T-Comp, dramatically reduces muzzle rise and sensed recoil, allowing much quicker target re-acquisition. Compatible with ½-28 threaded barrels our compensator requires no modification to your Sig P365, and once assembled fits most open ended holsters. The T-Comp works on all Sig P365 configurations and will function using almost any grain ammunition.

The real enginuity is in how the T-Comp is installed. Utilizing a two piece design our Sig comp installs securely in seconds WITHOUT the need for set screws or any other faulty attachment methods. Working on a concept focused on uncompromised innovation allowed considerable engineering freedom in developing significant solutions. Once attached, the Tyrant Compensator will not come loose while operating your firearm, or while holstering/unholstering it. Whether you are a range day goer or competitive shooter we are confident our Sig Sauer compensator not only outperforms the competition but sets a new standard for compensator innovation.

Tyrant Designs offers their new Sig Sauer P365 compensator in 3 different, two tone colors: Black on Black, Black on Nickel, Black on Gold. They have stated that their first production run is limited and that all dealer allocations have been filled. To see more head to www.tyrantcnc.com.
