I just found that HSP has updated their 1913 QD mount. The new Thorntail X 1913 QD mount has a smaller footprint than the original design while having greater tensile strength.
The 1913 QD Sling Mount is ideal for two-point slings and accepts all standard QD Sling Swivels or can be used as an attachment point for other types of sling hardware (HK Hooks, ULoop, paracord, etc.).

They’ve also integrated wire management for enablers as well as a mounting point for tape switches.
Additionally, it provides insulation from heat transfer off of the handguard and barrel. The design also enhances recoil management thanks to the forward hand stop.
