Brouwer – Magwell Extension for M1811 Grip Module

The Brouwer M1811 Magwell Extension is designed to enhance the already generous magwell of the M1811 Grip Module for the Sig P320. The Magwell extends the margin of error when performing magazine changes by increasing the magwell opening diameter and providing a smooth transition for feeding.

Special consideration was made to ensure that the addition of the Magwell would maintain the same grip index and repeatability of the M1811. In order to achieve this the external profile was designed to minimize impact and interference with the users grip. The rear of the Magwell was designed to fit below the profile of the grip to reduce impact to the users palm swell. The front and sides of the Magwell were designed to offer a secondary index point that cradles the users hand at the bottom of the front strap.

Compatibility:
The Magwell is designed to work with factory 17 round magazines, as well as high capacity magazines without modification.

Material and Finish:
The Magwell Extension is made from 7075-T6 aluminum and is currently offered in three different coatings: Hard Black Anodized, or Anodized with color matched Cerakote in either Coyote or Black.

Hogue – Wrapter

One of the things I ran across at last week’s NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits in Indianapolis was the Wrapter line of adhesive firearms grips from Hogue which allows you to add that Hogue grip feeling to standard grips.

Wrapter is available for a variety of handguns and is due cut for a perfect fit but there also a DIY kit in case you want to add Hogue’s famous rubber grip material to other guns or items.

Unity Tactical Launches RAXIS In-Line Mount for B.E. Meyers MAWL

RAXIS™ mount gives MAWL users compact storage capabilities

BROUSSARD, LA. (April 18, 2023) – UNITY™ Tactical, a designer of components that integrate tactical systems and optimize the human factor, announced today the launch of RAXIS™, an in-line mount for the B.E. Meyers® MAWL®.

RAXIS™ rotates the axis of the traditional off-center position of the MAWL, bringing the laser up onto the M1913 rail and within the profile of the weapon’s receiver. While this mount is useful in other applications, it was designed specifically for MAWL users with a need to stow their weapon in tight spaces, such as between the seat and center console of a police car or in a rotary wing asset.

“This product was designed for a niche audience with a very specific need to be able to stow a rifle in a compact location, such as a helicopter cockpit,” said Mike Roth, VP of business development for UNITY Tactical. “We always aim to fill gaps when we see them; and we saw a need here for law enforcement and aviators alike. Brownells Launches Complete BRN-9 Upper

GRINNELL, Iowa (April 17, 2023) –Brownells customers can quickly assemble a 9mm AR-15 style firearm with the BRN-9 — the newest Brownells BRN series complete upper receiver — in stock and shipping now.

A self-contained upper receiver chambered in 9mm, the BRN-9 is blowback operated, runs suppressed or unsuppressed without adjustment, and fits onto any standard AR-15 or BRN-180 lower receiver.

Because the upper does not require a buffer assembly, it readily functions with a folding stock as an SBR or with no stock at all as a pistol. For 9mm SBR configuration, all NFA rules apply.

The BRN-9 is compatible with both 9mm-only lowers and common 9mm magazine well adapters, including those for Glock, Sig, Colt, CZ Scorpion and MP5 magazines.

The upper retains bolt catch functionality and works with last round bolt hold open lowers. The non-reciprocating charging handle can be switched to either side.

The barrel is 5.5” long and has 1/2″x28 muzzle threads. Integral Picatinny rail makes it easy and simple to mount optics or sights.
