Blue Force Gear – Vickers SMG Sling

This scaled down version of the Vickers Sling features the quick adjuster you are used to.

It features the ULoop Attachment to interface with the weapon’s eyelets, holes in railed handguards, KeyMod rails, sling swivels and other odd sling mount spaces. With the ULoop, there’s no exposed metal which helps eliminate noise and won’t mar your gun.

XS Sights Now Offering Night Sights for Springfield Hellcat OSP

Fort Worth, Texas (October 13, 2021) – XS® Sights adds to its many sight offerings for the popular Springfield Armory® Hellcat® series with the addition of DXT2 Big Dot and R3D night sights for the optics-ready Hellcat Micro-Compact OSP. DXT2 Big Dot

The Big Dot sight leads the industry in size and has a self-illuminating tritium center surrounded by XS’s photoluminescent Glow Dot technology which drives focus to the front sight. The V-notch rear has a vertical tritium stripe creating a dot-the-“i” sight picture and eliminating the possibility of confusing the front and rear sights in high-stress situations. Available in Optic Yellow or Optic Orange.

R3D

The R3D has a traditional 3-dot tritium, notch and post sight picture. The rear sight is blacked out to increase contrast against the front sight which is available in bright Orange or Green. The brightly colored Glow Dot in the front sight is a much brighter color which differentiates the front tritium dot from the two rear tritium dots.

AUSA 21 – T-Worx Intelligent Rail

You may have heard of a Picatinny Smart Rail or Powered Rail which is the NATO STANAG 4740/AEP-90.

The T-Worx Intelligent Rail offers centralized weapon enabler power and control. The intelligent rail is Mil Std 1913 compatible but features an embedded, ruggedized printed circuit board (PCB). The battery is located in the butstock and connects to the rail via jumpers which follow contours of the lower receiver. Alternatives include a pistol grip battery or a mount directly to the rail.

Technically, it’s a power AND data rail but most users have concentrated on the ability to centrally power their enablers. The new Gateway Node seen in this photo, attached to the 3 o’clock rail position allows all of the enablers attached to the rail to communicate with other item’s in the Soldier’s network like an End User Device. It is compatible with the U.S. Army’s Intra-Soldier Wireless (ISW) protocol.

AUSA 21 – Blackbridge Defense

Exhibiting in the ADS, Inc booth, Blackbridge Defense offers the Shadow Mount and Swing Arm Assembley.

The Shadow Mount was initially developed for use with 10th SG(A)’s Snow Machines and accepts the M240 and M249. Naturally, it can be used with other platforms as well. All of the features can be used even while wearing mittens.

The weapon is easy to mount and dismount thanks to their spring loaded pin.

There is a rail along the right side of the mount to accept the universal ammo compartment which accepts two SAW drums or a 7.62 ammo can. The lid is replaced on the latter and there are two magnets in the compartment’s lid to hold your linked rounds at the ready so they won’t fall back inside the can. Additionally, the lid is ratcheted into place. Finally, there are detent holes for proper alignment with both M240 and M249 feedtrays.

SHOP Show Raeford – Badger Ordnance

Badge Ordnance showed us two upcoming additions to their Condition 1 Modular Mounts for optics.

Above is an as-of-yet-unnamed C1 Mount for Red Dot Optics. The C1 Max (below) is for mounting to bolt guns.

Both are expected Q1 2022 and are compatible with C1 accessories.
