There are more than 1 million disabled and fallen service members. Nearly 2 million military heroes’ dependents are negatively impacted by war. The cost to provide educational scholarships to those dependents is a whopping $9 billion, and 85% of the families don’t qualify for federal aid.
That’s where Folds of Honor comes in. They provide educational scholarships to the children and spouses of those who were killed or disabled while serving our great nation.
Our troops and their families have unselfishly sacrificed, so we can sleep safely each night and enjoy our sweet liberties each day. As Americans, we have to give back.
That’s why RISE Armament is partnering with Folds of Honor by designing and manufacturing special products that benefit the Folds of Honor foundation.
“To say we’re proud to help out and donate to Folds of Honor is an understatement,” says Matt Torres, president of RISE Armament. “Veterans’ families are often overlooked, which is really a shame. Our troops and their families have tremendous courage and have made so many sacrifices. It’s our duty as Americans, as patriots, to take care of them and honor what they’ve done for us all.”
Here are a few reasons RISE Armament is especially proud to team up with Folds of Honor:
• The scholarships Folds of Honor gives honor the sacrifices of those who have given so much to protect our freedom.
• Folds of Honor operates efficiently and respectfully, allowing the organization to donate 91% of every dollar raised to its scholarships.
• Folds of Honor is based in Oklahoma, but it has awarded scholarships in all 50 states, as well as Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
• Since 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded over 35,000 educational scholarships.

To further benefit Folds of Honor, RISE Armament developed the Patriot High-Performance Trigger and is donating a portion of each Patriot Trigger’s purchase price to the Folds of Honor foundation. It’s an easy-to-install, accuracy-enhancing rifle upgrade that gives back to veterans and their families. Each trigger purchase helps fund educational scholarships for children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members.
The Patriot Trigger has a crisp, clean release and ultra-short reset for faster follow-up shots and improved accuracy. It has a light, 3.5-pound pull and straight trigger blade.
A limited-edition item, the drop-in trigger group includes a Folds of Honor and RISE Armament commemorative challenge coin, along with free tools and anti-walk pins for fast and easy trigger installation.

The new BLASTPHEMY is a blast deflector constructed from 17-4 stainless steel. It’s also multi-caliber and is compatible with all HUXWRX HX-QD muzzle brakes and flash hiders (up to .338).

The BLASTPHEMY is designed to redirect the blast forward protecting the shooter and bystanders from micro-concussions and overpressure. Additionally, it mitigates flash and doubles as a thread protector for your muzzle device.

HUXWRX recommends it for shooting against cover and/or in the prone position. Similar to HUXWRX muzzle devices, the BLASTPHEMY is coated with QPQ black nitride which case-hardens the surface for greater durability and corrosion resistance.

POOLER, GA – Blue Force Gear has released a limited-edition, metal hardware version of its specialty Vickers Medic Sing.
The Vickers Medic Sling was developed based on the input of Special Forces 18 Delta medics and other combat medics. They wanted a sling with a greater range of adjustment than the Standard Vickers Sling but without the disadvantages commonly attributed to tailed slings. The quick adjusters found at both ends of the sling provide increased adjustment for anyone looking for a sling with greater flexibility, not just medics.

“The Medic Sling has been a long-time fan favorite, so it was time we brought it back,” explained Stephen Hilliard, Senior Director of Product Development for Blue Force Gear. “We wanted to do something a little different this time around, and we eventually landed on a limited-edition sling with all metal hardware. We haven’t released a Medic Sling with this configuration since 2011.”
The Vickers Medic Sling works the same way as the Blue Force Gear Standard Vickers Sling but features a Quick Adjuster Pull Tab at each end. This results in a greater range of adjustment, allowing the user to better secure their weapon when in the Rear Sling position. The Vickers Medic Slings also feature machined aluminum quick adjusters and steel triglides, adding another unique element to this special edition sling. All the hardware is made with premium US materials and has a lifetime guarantee.
The Vickers Medic Sling is not a regularly stocked item. This is a limited-edition release, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. For more information, visit blueforcegear.com/vickers-medic-sling.

ARC’s embedded IoT sensors to provide unprecedented mission-critical data to ground leadership
?
WASHINGTON–Armaments Research Company, Inc. (ARC), a technology and data company serving national security and public safety customers, announced today their Internet-of-Things (IoT) full-stack technology will be introduced in the Next Generation Squad Weapon (NGSW) program of record, in partnership with Sig Sauer. For the first time in 65 years, the U.S. Army’s initiative will replace its individual rifles, squad machine guns, fire control system, and ammunition, helping to modernize and better equip the warfighters of tomorrow.
ARC’s technology platform will provide data on individual weapons at scale. The resulting insights will enable units to regularly assess weapons’ health, reduce failure rates, extend the lifetime of a weapon and optimize maintenance plans, enhancing performance and reducing costs. The data can also improve a unit’s understanding of its readiness, which measures the unit’s fundamental ability to deploy quickly.
“Our team is thrilled to partner with Sig Sauer to deliver this groundbreaking platform and refresh the Army’s weapons for the first time in several decades,” said ARC CEO Michael Canty. “The Army NGSW program office is pushing the boundaries in seeking a modern, data-driven approach to weapons readiness and we are honored to contribute. With tens of thousands of new weapons as data sources in the field, we can optimize equipment safety and reliability, ultimately harnessing this data to save lives.”
The first production delivery of NGSW weapons will include ARC’s round count and inventory management system, gathering weapons usage data on the units over the next several years. The NGSW program’s intention to revolutionize the Army’s tactical weapons comes in response to findings that current weapons systems threaten conflict overmatch. More than 1,000 soldiers provided hands-on feedback during weapon testing and selection.
ARC’s weapons intelligence platform works with tactical tools and frontline AI to ensure mission readiness and improve small-unit performance. The platform enables the U.S. Army to capture mission-critical data from individual- and tactical-level weapons at scale, helping leaders at all levels make informed decisions during and after training to improve readiness, performance and operational efficiency.
ARC technical solutions and case studies are available for individual demonstration. Interested parties are invited to visit armaments.us and contact info@armaments.us for more information.
