SIG SAUER – M18 M18 X-CONVERSION Kit

During the Modern Day Marine virtual expo, SIG gave us a sneak peek at their new M18 X-CONVERSION Kit.

The 9mm M17/18 Modular Handgun System manufactured by SIG SAUER is the most versatile pistol the US military has ever fielded. SIG got it right when the Army said they wanted a modular pistol.

The kit, which can be used at the unit level, includes a black SIG SAUER X-SERIES grip module with extended beavertail, deep trigger undercut, enhanced magwell that’s grip weight compatible, and a fastback style grip. The kit also includes an X-SERIES flat trigger and two (2) 15-round magazines.

Both the Marines and Air Force are fielding the more compact M18 variant of MHS along with SOCOM, to replace their M9 sidearms.

Black Collar Arms Forged Carbon Fiber Components

Austin, TX (09/07/2020) — Originally developed as a joint effort between Lamborghini and Callaway Golf Company, the forged carbon fiber process can produce complex shapes one-third the weight of titanium, yet stronger. Partnering with manufacturing company McVick, Black Collar Arms is excited to bring the world of forged carbon fiber components to a firearm near you.

Available first are Forged Carbon Fiber One-Piece Scope Mounts in 30mm and 34mm ring sizes. Despite weighing in at a scant 5.2 ounces, these forged carbon fiber scope mounts are as stiff and rigid as if they were machined from steel (three times stiffer than aluminum!) with just 1/6th the thermal expansion of aluminum.

These are the most rigid scope mounts on the market and maintain flawless zero in any condition. As if the gorgeous carbon fiber aesthetic wasn’t enough!

Forged Carbon Fiber One-Piece Scope Mounts are the first in an upcoming line of forged carbon fiber components currently being designed by Black Collar to be manufactured by McVick exclusively for Black Collar. Expect further optic mounting solutions plus other accessories and components, including AR-15 parts.

Quality is extremely high, but current production capacity is low. Mount availability will be rather limited with small batches arriving at Black Collar weekly while we gradually invest in increasing capacity.

The Composite Field Punch from Warren Innovative Technologies was designed as a lightweight, non-metallic punch for pesky pins on firearms.

The outer material is chopped carbon microfiber reinforced nylon and the inside is continuous carbon fiber, making the tool as strong as aluminum and practically weightless. The small loop on the side allows a parachute cord lanyard (dummy cord) to keep it handy with your other field tools. The butt of a knife or other object can be used to tap the larger end. Anarchy Outdoors Introduces Performance Upgrades For The Thompson Center Compass and Venture Rifles

The Anarchy Outdoors Picatinny scope base for the T/C Compass and Venture features an integral bubble level that is machined into the back of the rail. This lets the shooter quickly and easily see if their rifle is level before taking a shot. Preventing cant in the rifle is critical to precision shooting at long range. The base also features a forward slope in either 20MOA or 30MOA. This maximizes the amount of useable elevation adjustment in a riflescope. These new scope bases are precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hardcoat anodized matted black and include the mounting hardware. ADS Federal Range Day 20 – Otis Suppressor Cleaner and Reclaimer

We gave you a sneak peek of the Otis Suppressor Cleaner and Reclaimer during SHOT Show. Since then, it’s gotten a new name and they’ve finalized the design as well as introduced a Six Unit System to complement the original, Single Unit System. As you can see, the Six Unit System is much larger, and is best floor mounted.

The OSCR-1 has a basket for individual components which the larger model does not. However, the OSCR-6 incorporates wheels and handles for movement.

Regardless of size, the OSCR removed more than 90% of carbon, copper, and lead fouling from the suppressor’s baffles in as little as two hours.
