Magpul – PMAG 20 AK/AKM MOE & Sand PMAG Floor Plates Now Shipping

Magpul is now shipping the Magpul PMAG 20 AK/AKM MOE, an inexpensive, lightweight, high reliability 20-round polymer magazine designed for Kalashnikov pattern rifles in 7.62x39mm – AK-47, AKM, AKS, SIG556R, ect. It features a removable floorplate, constant curve geometry, and a high-reliability/low-friction follower.

As a bonus, the 20 AK/AKM MOE magazine counts as three US compliance parts for 922r.

· Anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower for increased reliability

Manufactured using Magpul’s unique Sand material, these plates comes in packs of five and, due to the dye-compatible nature of the material, can be easily colored using readily available commercial dyes for identification purposes, or just to add a bit of flair to your mags.

For those times when 13 rounds of 45 ACP just isn’t enough, KRISS is now offering their MagEx Extension Kit for G21 magazines through their webstore. A proprietary magazine extension developed by KRISS for use with the .45 ACP Vector SMG, the MagEx extension increases the standard 13-round capacity of the G21 mag by 12 rounds, for a total capacity of 25+1 for the G21 handgun. The extended capacity mags can also be used on the G30 series pistols, if you’re into that sort of thing.

STS – The Muzzlethumper

My friend Rob Clark of Specialized Tactical Systems has created another new item, the Muzzlethumper.

Basically, it’s a muzzle device with three prongs that are great for deflating tires or use as a persuasive tool. On a lark, someone even attached one to a GLOCK. Yeah, it’s over the top, but it offers a good close up.

The SPHINX SDP Magazines are downward compatible, meaning the 17 round capacity magazine will fit into the SDP Standard, Compact Duty, Compact, and Subcompact. The 17 round magazine fits flush with the bottom of the SDP Standard and Compact Duty, however it will protrude past the pistol grip on the Compact and Subcompact.
