Higher Ground Raffle Winner Announced

Elite Defense gave us some good news and some bad news today. The good news is that they drew a winner for the Higher Ground raffle which consists or a carbine and a whole slew of kick ass accessories. Of course, the bad news is that I didn’t win it.

However, Rusty H of DSGArms.com from the great state of Texas (Ticket # 62120219) is the winner! Congrats!

Elite Defense is working with industry to benefit Higher Ground (a program of Sun Valley Adaptive Sports). Higher Ground provides a multidisciplinary approach to the long-term healing, restoration, and rehabilitation of wounded veterans with TBI/PTSD. They have gathered the top pieces of kit that our industry has to offer, from best manufactures! This is the total package – weapon, optics, lights, everything you need to get started! The tickets will only be available until tomorrow (Friday) at the Elite Defense booth (number #27411). Tickets are 10 dollars each and the winner will be drawn the Friday following SHOT show. The winner will be announced here on Soldier Systems Daily and www.EliteDefense.com.

Higher Ground Update

Our friend Kyle Defoor recently attended a Fly Fishing camp sponsored Higher Ground, a division of Sun Valley Adaptive Sports set up for the long-term healing, restoration, and rehabilitation of wounded veterans with TBI/PTSD. Just like Kyle, we think it’s a worthy charity and we know that there are several companies in industry providing support including one of our favorites, Smith Optics.
