PenCott-Snowdrift Fabric Available

Hyde Definition has announced that the PenCott-Snowdrift camouflage pattern is now available to order on the first of three planned fabric types.

The current fabric is a lightweight, packable, quick-drying and water-resistant 100% polyester shell fabric. They are using the same fabric, finish and nIR spec as used by the US Marine Corps for their snow camouflage overwhite suit. All Hyde Definition fabrics are printed by Duro Textiles LLC in Fall River, Massachusetts, USA – and orders are shipped from their warehouse.

FABRIC specifications:
• Construction: 108 warp / 94 fill
• Weight: 4.40 linear yards per pound
• Fiber Content: 100% Polyester
• Features: water resistant, quick drying
• Finished Width: 62”

Due to popular demand, the next 2 fabrics offered in this pattern are Quarpel-treated 50/50 NYCO ripstop and DWR-finished and Urethane-backed 500D Cordura nylon.

PenCott-GreenZone in Germany

UFPRO Details Sniper Garment System in PenCott Camo

Slovenian clothing maker UFPRO have updated their website with up-close detailed photos of their Sniper Garment System made from Hyde Definition’s PenCott-GreenZone camouflage. They are also manufacturing the ensemble in Badlands. UFPRO designed and supplied the current Slovenian Army combat clothing ensemble, as well as garment systems for the Slovenian Customs and Prison services.

SPECOPS.PL BS-2 Combat Shirt in PenCott

Here are some shots of Polish manufacturer SPECOPS’ BS-2 Combat Shirt, made from PENCOTT NYCO IRR material in both Green Zone and Sandstorm camo patterns.

The shirt’s body is made from POLARTEC PowerDry thermo-active and Fire Resistant material and produced in their latest MBS-2 combat uniform standard. Entire garment is sewn with AMANN threads, featuring YKK zippers, and Velcro. According to SPECOPS, PenCott camo has been sold in Poland to both civilian and military clients and is currently undergoing field trials with Polish components of ISAF, Afghanistan.

SABRE Introduces Commercial Sales of PenCott Gear

SABRE is German firm JK Defence & Security Products GmbH’s tactical brand. Out of all of the new commercial camouflage patterns available, JK Defence selected Hyde Definition’s PenCott to offer their customers in the special operations community. PenCott is also the only non-German camouflage pattern in the SABRE portfolio.

Up to now, JK Defence has been selling PenCott-GreenZone and PenCott-Badlands clothing and gear to German and Austrian military and law enforcement special ops units, but not to the commercial market. But, due to the increasing popularity of and demand for the PenCott patterns, JK Defence has decided to also offer PenCott clothing and gear commercially as well.

The PenCott products will be on the SABRE website soon, in the meantime here are some sneak peak photos of SABRE’s 3rd Generation Special Forces Smock and Combat Field Shirt in PenCott-GreenZone and PenCott-Badlands.
