This bag contains the Recondo 1 Jungle Hammock System from Litefighter in its storage configuration. Deployment is simple. You attach the carabiner to the anchor point and pull the hammock out of the bag to the other end’s anchor point.

LiteFighter Updates Their Shelter System

LiteFighter has updated their LiteFighter 1 Shelter System featured in the past here on SSD. It combines a Permethrin treated bug net with tub floor designed to fit a GI cot with a waterproof rainfly that turns it into a versatile shelter system. The rainfly includes dual vestibules for storage and the shelter offers dual side openings, internal stowage pockets, gear loops and pile strips for hook-backed nametapes.

LiteFighter Full Spectrum 1

This was one of our favorite items from Warrior West. Their Full Spectrum 1 system was designed by this Service Disabled, Veteran owned family business as a replacement for the issue shelter half and mosquito net. It’s designed specifically to set up on a cot and features a slightly larger footprint than the GI cot so that it will drape over the sides and stay in place. It makes a great, free standing mosquito net. As a shelter, it integrates a fly offered in several colors and incorporates an oversized vestibule to protect your equipment.

Warrior West – Litefighter

Litefighter is a Service Disabled, Veteran owned family business that specializes in individual shelter systems. Their new FULL-SPECTRUM 1 shelter replaces the issue mosquito bar and a full shelter half system.

The footprint is perfect for setting up on a GI cot and incorporates a single pole system with 6 arms that make setup a snap.

The 3+ season shelter is extremely compact and weighs only 4 lbs, 8 oz.

Litefighter offers flies in several color schemes which incorporate a full 14 sq ft of vestibule compared to the 7 sq ft normally found in commercial backpacking shelters. This means plenty of room for your mission essential equipment.

This product was designed “by Soldiers for Soldiers” and includes many features not normally seen elsewhere. For example, the mesh is Permethrin treated and the tent bottom is reinforced anywhere it touches a cot’s metal frame. Additionally, the FULL-SPECTRUM 1 comes with a repair kit including a sleeve for broken poles.
