With its signature orange top ring, the Surefire Shinola flashlight utilizes a high-efficiency, virtually failure-proof LED to deliver 600 blinding lumens of tactical-level light, as well as useful 15-lumen beam on its low setting. The flashlight’s precision-manufactured, micro-textured reflector shapes the LED’s light into a smooth, comparatively wide beam with a bright central area and generous surround light to accommodate peripheral vision. SureFire Field Notes – Travis Haley

SureFire Field Notes is a multi-segment informational video series with tips and techniques from subject matter experts of all backgrounds. In this episode, Travis Haley of Haley Strategic Partners discusses various low-light techniques with a handheld flashlight and how to practice with them.

Travis Haley is a veteran Force Reconnaissance Marine with 15 years of dedicated real world experience including: combat tours in Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. After leaving the military, Mr Haley served as a special operations and security contractor before partnering with Magpul as founder and CEO of their training division, Magpul Dynamics. Mr Haley also served as CEO of the parent company, Magpul Industries, before breaking off to form the endeavor that would become Haley Strategic Partners.

NRAAM 2017 – SureFire XH15 Ultra Holster Light

The new MasterFire Holster from SureFire requires the use of a light designed specifically for use with the holster.  We’ve all seen the x300/400 series lights but SureFire is introducing a new polymer weapon light intended specifically for use with the MasterFire Holster.

Hitting the market by early Summer, the XH15 should come in at around $100. It features a MaxVision beam amd relies on a single CR123A bettery to offer 350 lumens for 1.25 hours.

NRAAM 2017 – SureFire MasterFire Holster for Sale in Booth

You can be the first kid in your neighborhood to use the SureFire MasterFire Holster!

The MasterFire holster from SureFire, unveiled at SHOT Show, is available for sale at a discount at the booth (#3250). However, you will require a holster compatible light to use this holster as it grabs unto four index points on the light’s body. Currently offered in the booth are the X300UH and X400UH in Green or Red.

If you’re on the fence, consider this. Because the MasterFire grips the light, it will accept most handguns, as long as it will accept a weaponlight. Additionally, as you can see in the top photo, you can use with a mounted suppressor.
