TYR Tactical has added the Pico MV to their website. It is their lightweight Pico design but built to accept MBAV cut armor. But, notice the photo above. At the shooter’s back you can clearly discern two straps running under the armor to the Brocos belt. These are actually components of TYR’s new X-frame, designed to support the weight of the armor on the belt.

TYR Tactical PICO-MV Rough Low Vis Carrier

This is the new TYR Tactical PICO-MV Rough Low Vis Carrier. You can adapt all of their current and future PICO cummerbunds to these new carriers. You can also change out the front flat flap to one of their 5.56, 7.62 or MOLLE flaps. It’s a very scalable system and and comes in PICO, MV (MBAV) and MVW (PICO-MV with soft armor wrapped in the wings) variants. This one is the MV version which fits the current SOF MBAV Shape ballistics and has an internal plate pocket that adjusts to fit a variety of plate sizes and shapes. Manufactured from PV it’s available in MultiCam, Black, Coyote and Ranger Green.

TYR Tactical Zip On Back Panels

TYR Tactical has added 6 new Zip On Back Panels to their website. These are designed to work with the PICO plate carrier but due to the design, you can adapt them to most armor carriers. The adapters just MOLLE into place on the rear of the carrier.
Options include a beaver tail model, PALS models with hydration pockets and admin variants with hydration pockets.
Manufactured from PV, they are available in MultiCam, Coyote, Ranger Green and Black.

The Cobra buckle equipped belt features 2 rows of 1/2” webbing surrounding the exterior of the belt that accommodates PALS equipped pouches as well as a removable mesh padding panel. Manufactured from PV, it features a large interior main compartment with organizational mesh pockets on either side as well as two end interior pouches to carry a mesh toiletry bag (included). Additionally, there are exterior side pouches featuring 3 interior dividers.

Looks like TYR Tactical has been busy. They released photos of their new Gunfighter Belt System. It’s a Cobra buckle, rigger-style with optional padding and the ability to attach MOLLE directly to your 1st line. Seen below with the padding attached.
No word yet on availability or colors but we’d say it’s coming soon.
