FirstSpear Friday Focus – Drawbridge

Today we are getting the first look at an all new component from FirstSpear, the Drawbridge. Designed to work with any style of face mask, the drawbridge allows rapid and secure adjustment for elastic masks and 4 point tie on masks. The simple design provides additional comfort and can be worn vertically as shown or horizontally with elastic style masks. The drawbridge offers a wide range of adjustment for user preference and comfort.

Constructed from a single piece of laser fused hypalon the drawbridge can be worn with the rubberized coating down for added grip on the back of the head or flipped over for added comfort from the low profile loop. Comes with two barrel locks.

FirstSpear Friday Focus – Reusable Face Mask

FirstSpear has announced they are manufacturing a reusable face mask and making them available right away. 100% Berry compliant one size fits all mask with a 4 point reinforced closure for long term security. Colors will vary based on availability, the construction will vary between a nylon cotton or polyester cotton blend also based on material availability. The mask can be laundered for re-use and it is recommended to hand wash each day with a mild antibacterial dish or laundry soap and hang dry over night.

Currently available in ACU and Sage Green.

FirstSpear has stated orders are being filled as quickly as possible but as always FS prioritizes government agency, law enforcement agencies, hospital and EMS requests first. Production is on going and individual orders will be filled in the order they are received.

Originally developed as an assault pack designed to quickly attach to many different platforms with supplied G-Hook straps or utilized as a stand-alone pack with low profile backpack straps. Features a removable beavertail style outer flap that is secured with shock cord and spacious enough to hold a helmet. Inside the flap you will find elastic daisy chain sized to hold flash bang and smoke grenades. Rear most pocket holds an included comfort pad or hydration bladder up to 3 liters as well as optional internal frame. The lightweight yet ultra sturdy construction has become a popular choice for those looking for a 1 day pack as well as gym or work bag.
