Mission First Tactical To Debut Holster Line at SHOT Show 2017

Thursday, December 22nd, 2016

Developed by an MFT team of law enforcement, military and civilian end users, the new holster line offers an optimal fit, finish and performance.

Horsham, Pa. (December 2016) – Mission First Tactical (MFT), innovators and leaders in the design of advanced arms accessories, has expanded its American-made product line to include handgun holsters designed and built to maximize security, comfort and concealment with the most effective and confident feel when drawing or holstering a firearm.

“Mission First Tactical is renowned for blending unique designs with revolutionary materials and the latest production techniques to create unparalleled firearms accessories,” Gordon Edelman, President of Mission First Tactical commented. “The addition of a handgun holster line is a natural progression from our rifle/carbine accessories, since tactical operators also carry a backup handgun in addition to a rifle platform. We at MFT wanted to make certain that the holsters complimented our other accessories in design, material and functionality. Using the latest high-tech materials and production methods, our new holster line has all the fit, feel and performance one expects from MFT.”

The MFT team of experienced advisors and designers researched materials to develop a holster that would have capabilities unlike any other holster on the market. After evaluating multiple materials, MFT selected Boltaron for its uniform wall thickness, impact and scratch resistance, chemical and stretch/wear resistance. In addition, Boltaron is ten times more impact resistant than standard plastics, is fire retardant and is resistant to cracking in artic cold and deforming in extreme heat. The new material is only known to small custom shops, and is made using sophisticated laser capabilities to produce super clean edges with superior finishing techniques. Every holster undergoes hand assembly and finishing, resulting in a perfect combination of the latest technologies and hand-crafted attention to detail.

The new MFT holsters are proudly MADE IN THE USA with the Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) making its debut at SHOT Show 2017 this January in Las Vegas, Nevada. Visit MFT at booth #20214. Multiple models will be available. MSRP is $69.99.

With changing mounts as simple as removing and replacing a couple of screws, G-Code offers a lot of versatility. I’m surprised at how many they offer. Additionally, they are adaptable to many other brands of holsters and pouches.

Raven Concealment Systems Introduces “Roland Special” Phantom Holster Variant

Thursday, December 15th, 2016

This version of RCS’s Phantom LC holster was created with direct feedback from Presscheck Consulting, to ensure that the weapon and holster are perfectly suited for their intended application.

In addition to its unique, aggressive looks, the Roland Special Phantom LC comes with a brand-new belt-attachment accessory: The Drop/Offset kit. This kit consists of a drop-bracket and a spacer, which allows the shooter to add drop, offset, or both to the ride of the holster. This makes the holster configurable for more direct-action roles.

The kit also comes with a set of 1.5” Pancake Wings, which, when attached directly to the holster body, pull the weapon in tight for optimal concealed-carry roles.  Additionally, this kit includes a set of Quick-Mount Straps (QMS) which allow rapid donning and doffing of the holster.

This holster fits the following variants of Glock 19 pistols with Surefire X-300 U/A/B:
ATEI Roland Special
Glock 19 MOS
Glock Gen 3 G19
Glock Gen 4 G19
Agency Arms G19

G-Code Introduces the P-Series Interface System for G-Code Scorpion and Scorpion Softshell Magazine Pouches

Wednesday, November 30th, 2016

Jacksonville, North Carolina – November 29, 2017 G-Code introduces the P-Series* interface system for the G-Code Scorpion™ Softshell and Scorpion Hardshell line of magazine pouches.

p1_main

Specifically designed to molle into PALS webbing on body armor and “battle belts”, the P-1 Series is optimized for pistol Scorpion platforms whereas the R-1 Series is optimized for rifle pouches. The P-Series and R-Series interfaces allow for four carry height positions, and using a P-1 clip allows for a G-Code Scorpion Softshell pistol mag to be stacked on Scorpion Softshell rifle mag pouch.

p1_a06

The P-2 Series, like the R-2 Interfaces, were designed specifically for use with the G-Code Operator Belt (1.75”), keeping G-Code Scorpion Softshell and Scorpion pouches in place when an end user accesses a magazine, giving a smooth draw from the pouch. Finally, the new P-3 series is designed for use with double and triple layer shooting belts.

Both P-series and R-Series interfaces provide a solution for tool free installation and adjustment of G-Code Scorpion Pouches. The clips feature a locking collar that engages with a positive “click” and prevents unintended release/loss in the field.

Sold individually, including hardware, P-Series, R-Series and Scorpion Pouches are available right now on G-Code’s website.
