This new Dragon Lock holster retention system from DownEast offers Level 3 retention on a fabric holster. The design is ambidextrous and can be changed with simple tools. It will also work on Kydex or polymer holsters but was really designed for use with fabric holsters.
This is huge for small manufacturers and will be tooled up and ready to go in a month.
Additionally, DownEast has been working to improve how their polymer feed chute actually attaches to the weapon. They’ve developed a new two piece feed chute collar.
The INCOG IWB Holster System is a joint development project combining the experience and expertise of two industry leaders with the goal of providing a premium quality, real-world IWB carry system.
Scott Evans, Director of Operations at G-Code Holsters, attended multiple Haley Strategic weapons manipulation and Disruptive Environments training events during 2012. Throughout these programs, a clear need emerged for a better solution to the IWB carry. After some exploration and discussion, a collaboration began between the two companies to develop a IWB system that solved specific problems with other offerings on the market today.
The INCOG is a minimum bulk, multi-positional, deep concealment holster. It’s distinctive features enable the concealed carry of a handgun from a variety of carry positions while maintaining the tactical availability of the weapon. Inherent in the system are adjustments in the depth of carry, angle of carry, the position of carry and security of carry. Adjustments are supported via the unique modular mounting points on the holster and the use of variable mounting components.
Combined they maximize function respective to the users: body type, deployment tactics and personal preferences. The holster is adaptive to varying operational environments and mission requirements.
The patent pending “INCOG Mounting Clip” is is molded from high strength materials and incorporates a negative angle designed to force the holster closer to the body. This improves the conceal-ability of the holster without increasing bulk and supports a higher positional carry without compromise to the security of the system during use. This higher position facilitates faster weapon presentations from deep cover.
The mounting clips also have multiple mounting points further increasing the range of carry options and adjustments. The unique geometry of the mounting clips open and slide down over the belt and lock in place. The clip is actuated via a finger tab, and is flexed to open allowing quick installation or removal of the rig from the belt.
The INCOG holster body is precision formed Kydex providing a secure “snap and pop” fit. In addition, a synthetic suede like material lovingly referred to as “Tactical FUZZ” is laminated to the outer shell of the holster. The FUZZ serves as a soft comfort zone between the holster and the body elevating wear-ability over extended periods. More importantly, this material forms a friction zone between the wearer’s garment and the holster. This aids in the positional security of the rig drastically reducing “holster shift” during movement.
The HSP team has extensively tested the INCOG IWB Holster System to meet their exacting operational and performance standards. Likewise; as with all G-Code products, the INCOG comes with a lifetime warranty factory.
Pricing for base system starts at $69.95 For more information: www.tacticalholsters.com/product/INC/INCOG

Obviously a Spanish product, the Eureka4 holster is demonstrated by this Spanish Police woman. Eureka4 is an innovation incubator and this is their first product. However, I’m not quite sure what to say about their marketing video.
Thanks Kevin!
Raven Concealment Systems has just released details on their new ModuLoader Frames. Part of the ModuLoader series, the new Frames are designed to bridge the gap between daily concealed carry gear and more “tactical” load carriage products like the extremely versatile Taco pouches from High Speed Gear, Inc.
Think of them as an adapter that will help you adapt your Tacos and other accessories for use with a standard belt. ModuLoader Frames are available in four sizes and manufactured from the same material that RCS uses for their injection molded belt loops and pancake wings meaning they will provide flexibility for increased comfort.
They will also allow four different ride heights and accommodate five different belt loops for a customized fit and will still link and integrate with many existing Raven Concealment products.
They will begin taking orders on Black Friday (23 November), with RCS promising that orders will ship in time to be under the tree Christmas morning.
Like all RCS products, the ModuLoader Frames are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, and are covered by their unconditional lifetime warranty.
High Threat Concealment has developed two new belt systems to supplement their Low Profile System which was recently adopted for use by all DS Agents going to high threat posts overseas. That issue system is in the same FDE as the LPS I have been using quite satisfactorily for shooting courses.
Both of HTC’s new belts can act as a traditional “duty belt”. The difference is in their “profiles”. Obviously, the Low Profile version is well suited for wear with a sport coat and the High Profile version acts more like a rigger’s belt.
The Low Profile Belt System is an over belt/under belt system that makes the LPS rig a “fast attach” gear option. The over belt is a hybrid leather and nylon belt with loop along the inner portion of the belt. This belt is woven through the LPS. Once it is properly set up and spaced the way the user wants, the system can then be thrown on quickly and secured via the hook and loop tape under belt. It can be further secured in place by placing the over belt through the two front traditional pants belt loops. The under belt is made out of stiff nylon and has hook along it’s outer. The unique part of the Low Profile Belt System is that the belt looks like a standard leather dress belt when worn with a blazer, sport coat, or open button down shirt while the rest of the system is concealed under the clothing. HTC has a provisional patent for the belt and are waiting on the final patent paperwork.
HTC related to us that the Low Profile Belt system is also a great alternative to the traditional police style duty belts as it’s much lighter and more comfortable than most all leather versions. Yet, the front portion, the portion you see, gives it that leather appearance.
The second belt system is a High Profile Belt System that is similar to the Low Profile version but instead of the leather front and standard belt buckle, it comes fitted with a life-support capable Cobra buckle. This belt was designed specifically by request for the DS Special Skills Branch and gives the user the option to have a more overt profile. It is perfect for those assigned to QRF or Special Response Teams.
HTC informed us that we should see a full public release of these new belts as well as the LPS in FDE in late December/early January; just in time for SHOT Show. HTC will be with LCI/TAG and have the belts there for everyone to see and try on.
