(EO)2 Mounting System

(EO)2 or Easy On, Easy Off is an extremely rigid industrial fastener that allows for secure attachment of gear without the use of straps, cords, or U-bolts. (EO)2 consists of two mating rails that “snap” together. (EO)2 offers both individual “SnapTop” rails and bottom rails in various sizes to allow the end user to modify their own gear and/or vehicles with the attachment system.

Also available are SnapTopCarriers, crush resistant, water resistant hard cases pre-configured with the SnapTop rail, with or without foam or dividers.

(EO)2 offers a unique harness system that allows for individuals to carry either the SnapTopCarriers or their own modified gear on their person in a secure fashion.

There is even an (EO)2 system designed for securely attaching firearms with picatinny rails to walls or inside vehicles.

Warrior West – LBT Inc Unveils Mission Adaptive Panel System

LBT has been working on this new modular armor carrier and bag system for several months and every once in awhile something will pop up about it but this is the first time that the Mission Adaptive Panel System has been shown publicly.

Right now, it consists of a weapon bag, plate carrier and several Mission Adaptive Panels. These graphics from LBT gives you a good idea of what we’re talking here.

One thing that I thought was cool is that one of the panels incorporates the S&S Precision Skeletonized Magazine Retention And Baseplate.

This is another one of the panels which incorporates rifle and pistol magazine pouches. The pistol magazine pouches feature Kydex inserts.

The MAPs can be attached via a hook and loop and SR buckle combination to the carrier or the weapon pack. Additionally, the interior of the weapon pack (seen above) is lined with pile tape to accept a wide variety of accessories.

So far, the reception has been great here at Warrior West. In production now from LBT Inc.

FirstSpear Friday Focus – Padded Split Front Recce Rig, 6/12

This week we are taking a look at the FirstSpear Recce Rig. I’ve got to say that I am a big fan of Chest rigs having used an Arktis Model 42 Rig while stationed in 3ID LRS back in the late 80s and later wearing an Eagle SF30 AK rig in Haiti in the mid-90s while on a SOT-A in 3rd Group. Something neither of those designs offered was modularity. The Padded Split Front Recce Rig, 6/12 moves the load from the waist up unto the chest on 6/9 body panels that ride left and right and accept PALS and 6/9 equipped pouches meaning you can completely customize your load.

The split-front front closes via two short TUBES attachments and incorporates a Velcro closure on the sides allowing you to stash needed items inside the body of the rig. The padded shoulder harness features a flat, H-style cross piece at the rear for comfort. The rear of the waist is held fast via a simple, 1″ webbing strap that is releasable and adjustable at either end.

Berry compliant and offered in Black, Coyote, Ranger Green and MultiCam.

Advanced Holster – Snatch N’ Grab Modular Loadout Panel

The Snatch N’ Grab is a low-profile modular loadout panel designed to be compatible with most commercial day packs on the market today. Made from flame retardant (UL94-V0) ABS plastic, the Snatch N’ Grab measures 16″ x 10″ with a 2.3″ bottom flange. The rigid construction means it won’t slump inside your pack, and the nylon handle allows you to ‘snatch and grab’ the panel. Rounded edges prevent frayed webbing and material.

The Snatch N’ Grab features multiple PALS-compatible slots to allow you to customize your load. It also can be configured to fasten to the front or rear of a vehicle seat.

The Snatch N’ Grab is truly something we’ve all been waiting for. It gives the user the ability to go to an area, obtain a commercial day pack from a retailer or market, and outfit themselves with necessary kit in a low-profile configuration.

Darley Defense Days – MMI Outdoor

Developed using input from SOF customers, MMI’s RD Dump Pouch is made from 330D Cordura and Tweave stretch fabric. It utilizes MMI’s proprietary, fast opening RD – Rapid Deployment technology, and is designed for one hand operation – opening and closing. Holds up to six 30-round 5.56 magazines, with an elastic retention flap that keeps the contents from spilling out during use. Additionally, the elastic retention flap is field repairable.

Available in Coyote, MultiCam, AOR1, and AOR2.

Blue Force Gear – PLATEminus 2 Overview And Pre-Order

Blue Force Gear took all the feedback from beta testing and customers of the original PLATEminus to create the updated PLATEminus V2. The PLATE 2 includes the two most requested features of the original PLATE: side plate pockets and a cummerbund.

The side plates are fully enclosed with a unique and effective double fold. The front of the side plate pockets are MOLLE compatible for attaching additional pouches.

The cummerbund is fully adjustable and features Ten-Speed elastic. The length is adjustable by the back panel and side plate pockets. PLATE 2 ships with a standard 2-cell cummerbund which works with chest sizes 38″-45″, but can also be combined with the LMAC Side Closures for smaller or larger sizes.

Darley Defense Days – Tactical Tailor/Grey Ghost Gear

Grey Ghost Gear has introduced a line of Kydex to their site from Orange Diamond Concealment. Seen above is a Velcro hook backed AR magazine carrier. You may notice the distinctive diamond shape molded into all of these products. That and the Orange Diamond name hail the WWII Ranger insignia. Orange Diamond Concealment also offers a variety of holsters.

You may notice that it’s attached to a Tactical Tailor MBAV Low Viz Carrier in Wolf Grey.
