This proprietary Polymer AR Carbine rail system allows secure mounting for MLOK accessories, like vertical grips, bipods, lights and lasers. The MLOK system allows for universal modularity between numerous manufacturers of accessories and accessory rails. There is a Sling QD mount for right handed operators.
“We created this handguard for an end user looking for a different foot print with enhanced features that’s price sensitive. It’s light, tough as nails and allows accessories to be quickly and easily added,” said MFT’s Vice President David Edelman.
The rail is manufactured using MFT’s propriety polymer that is heat and impact resistant. The drop-in nature of the rail allows for easy installation. It also provides a larger range of modularity with mounting positions at the traditional 12, 3, 6 and 9:00 positions.
The Tekko Polymer AR15 Carbine M-LOK Rail System replaces the plastic factory handguard in minutes and requires no gunsmithing. No permanent alterations need to be made to the rifle as it’s a drop-in, screwless installation. The unit is held in place by the Delta ring and handguard cap. Available in Black or Scorched Dark Earth (Tan), the TP15MRS is made in the USA with a lifetime warranty.

Caveat Emptor – Counterfeit Tactical Augmented Pressure Switch Identified
Monday, October 30th, 2017TNVC notified us that a counterfeit version of their joint venture with Unity Tactical, the Tactical Augmented Pressure Switch has been identified, along with this note.
PSA: We have been made aware of an unlicensed copy of TAPS, made by a Hong Kong Airsoft company. The maker of these copies has since ceased, but we do not know how many were sold. These copies look almost identical except the logos are different and the contact leads are not standard. The laser lead on the fake will not fit standard US lasers. Just want to let you guys know about these so you don’t accidentally buy one on ebay and find out the hard way that it doesn’t work. here’s some pics of the fakes:

HM Defense Announces the HMB Bolt

Mt. Orab, Ohio – HM Defense announces the release of its all-new HMB Bolt, an enhanced durability bolt for M16, AR-10 and AR-15 rifles. The HMB Bolt corrects a natural weak point in existing Mil-Spec M16, AR-10 & AR-15 bolts where the cam pin hole passes through the bolt. Under extensive use, including the stress of combat, a standard Mil-Spec bolt can fail at the cam pin hole location.
The HMB Bolt by HM Defense eliminates the pass-through cam pin hole and replaces it with a cam pin socket and tapered cam pin design. This new patent-pending design eliminates the natural weak point of Mil-Spec bolts by significantly increasing the amount of metal (and strength) at the cam pin location. The result – No more broken bolts!
“The HMB Bolt design provides a substantial improvement in long-term durability over the existing Mil-Spec bolt,” said Clay Barker, General Manager at HM Defense. “Every M16 and AR rifle can benefit from our new HMB Bolt design.”
Additionally, the HMB Bolt reduces contact between cam pin and firing pin, enabling smoother operation of firing pin, bolt lugs and aft gas rings. The new cam pin socket also retains lubrication for extended operations.
The HMB Bolt is 100% compatible with Mil-Spec M16 & AR-15 BCGs and can be installed as a drop-in bolt replacement in any existing M16 or AR-15 rifle. The HMB Bolt will be standard on all HM Defense HM15 rifles and available as an HM Defense bolt replacement kit or in a complete. HMB Bolt Carrier Group starting in September 2017.
