What are we looking at here exactly? Why, it’s a brand-new stock from BCM. The first glimpse came from a couple of images showing Frank Proctor and Travis Haley running it on their rifles.
Most recently, Larry Vickers posted a few up close photos of the new stock on his Facebook fan page.

The second episode of American Gunfighter is now live. Presented by Bravo Company Manufacturing, each episode of American Gunfighter features a different instructor from the BCM Gunfighter program. These instructors speak about how they got to where they are and what drives them to do what they do. This episode profiles Tom Spooner of Northern Red. His profile can be read below:
Tom has dedicated his adult life to serving our country. Starting as a private in the 82nd Airborne and culminating in 10 years at 1st SFOD-D. As an Operator Tom spent 40 months in combat, conducting over 1300 direct action missions. Tom’s experience base includes Hostage Rescue, Kill/Capture and Helo based vehicle interdictions. He served as both an Assault Team leader and Sniper Team Leader in combat. Tom’s extensive experience in executing missions that were often opposed by the enemies most hardened fighters created his passion for teaching the application of marksmanship and tactics in real world scenarios.

July 2, 2014 – BCM is proud to announce the premiere of a new series of short films titled American Gunfighter. Each episode of American Gunfighter will feature a different instructor from the BCM Gunfighter program and talk one-on-one with them about how they got to where they are and what drives them do what they do.

Men with decades of field experience, both collectively and individually, who have chosen to make it their mission in life to pass on what they have learned so that the next generation going into harm’s way can benefit from their knowledge. Produced by Paul Buffoni, Travis Haley and Jon Chang, the series was conceived of and directed by Jon Chang, author of the graphic novel series Black Powder \\ Red Earth, who had this to say about the production, “Working with the BCM crew has been a life changing experience. It’s rare that you get an opportunity to work with people who have so much history and skill. Through these short documentary pieces, we are offering a glimpse into who these men are and why.”
Paul adds, “It is our hope at BCM that today’s warfighters, law enforcement officers and responsible civilians will discover more about these instructors and enroll in their training programs, learning first-hand from the experiences and sacrifices these men share.”

March 4, 2014 – BCM is happy to announce that the BCM KMR-13 and KMR-10 handguards are now available for sale as individual components and as complete upper receiver groups. The KMR represents the lightest modular handguard currently on the market.
Weighing in at just 7.7 oz (including the handguard and all mounting hardware) the KMR-13 is built from a exclusive blended aluminum-magnesium alloy and features a proprietary finish originally developed for the Aerospace industry. The finish is created via a plasma deposition process that creates a stabilized ceramic-like surface coating with superior wearwhen compared to anodize or even hard chrome. The stabilized nature of the coating means it has a higher corrosion resistance as well, due to the lack of ‘pores’ in the surface.
The BCM KMR also allows for a larger range of modularity offering 4 different offset mounting positions between traditional 3,6,9, and 12:00 positions.
Mike Pannone, an instructor from the BCM Gunfighter program, had this to say about the new KMR platform. “The new BCM KMR (Key Mod Rail forend) is by far my favorite free-float forend choice. I particularly like and appreciate the weight savings and the slim, smooth and uncluttered profile of the KMR magnesium/aluminum forend. There are others out there that take the same approach but none have succeeded at the level BCM has. The weight makes the rifle fast from target to target and easy to stop when it gets there and the slim and smooth tube has only rails or attachment points where I need them. I am a minimalist when it comes to accessories and I am a firm believer in “less is more” when we are talking about things bolted to the front of my rifle.”

The BCMGunfighter™ Vertical Grip introduces a slight angle into the design. Available in 2 configurations: Full Size and Short, the grip can be installed with the angle sloping towards the muzzle or towards the shooter, thanks to the low profile spring-loaded rail attachment clamp. The key new features on this grip vs the Mod 0 and Mod 1 are the width of the grip (now 1/4″ wider than the slim MOD 0 and MOD 1) and the forward tang that is modular on both the MOD 0 and MOD 1 is baked into this new design. The tang feature is designed to close the gap between the trigger guard and the pistol grip to mitigate the pinch. The Mod 3 also shares the high rise “beavertail” backstrap of the MOD 1.
At $17.95, they are also almost half the price of the MOD 1 and MOD 0.
