All-New Rifle Brass Line Introduced by Gunwerks

Tuesday, May 15th, 2018

For over a decade Gunwerks has established a reputation for delivering the best long range shooting solutions on the market. Now they’ve engineered and introduced a new line of premium rifle brass to match.

“Engineering our own brass achieves a few goals,” said James Christiansen, Gunwerks COO. “First, it will improve quality and consistency. We have always sought out the best components available for our loaded ammunition. With this move, we can more tightly control tolerances and quality to produce the best brass and ammunition available.”

“This will also reduce component cost on brass, which will allow us to pass savings on to our customers, in the form of component brass for reloaders and loaded ammunition for our customers and precision shooters,” Christiansen continued. “It’s a win-win for all of us.”

Designed as the perfect brass for precision shooters, this cartridge brass features extreme consistency lot to lot and extremely tight tolerances. Optimized case walls and primer pockets afford high brass life for maximum number of reloads possible and uniform flash holes provide consistent ignition and low extreme spreads.

“Consistency is key,” said Mike Davidson, Director of Manufacturing Operations at Gunwerks. “Precision shooters and reloaders need components that eliminate or minimize variables in the equation. This new brass will produce the most consistent ammo available either in our Gunwerks loaded ammo or in your own hand loads. We don’t cut corners, so you know if we’re loading it in our own ammo, it’s good stuff.”

Gunwerks brass is available in quantities of 100 from www.gunwerks.com/brass and comes in a zippered, reusable pouch. A handful of calibers are available immediately with more offerings coming late 2018 and more still in development.

Specifications:
• Extreme consistency piece-to-piece and lot-to-lot
• Consistent weight & volume to reduce velocity spreads
• Minimal neck runout for superior precision
• Optimized metallurgy and dimensions to maximize case life
• Clean case head design for easy pressure sign identification
• All brass sizes feature large rifle primer pockets
• Includes 100 round reusable, zippered pouch

Gunwerks Announces Exclusive Rifle Series series Called The Collective, Reveals The CoPilot

Thursday, March 22nd, 2018

(Cody, Wyoming) March 19, 2018.  The Collective, a series of exclusive, purpose-driven, premium rifles, introduces the CoPilot. The ultimate truck gun for the land manager, hunter, and those who simply want the best. The CoPilot is a limited edition rifle with less than 100 offered to the public. Designed as a short frame rifle the CoPilot is chambered in 6MM Creedmoor, built with premium components and accessories.

“We pooled some of the brightest minds and makers of the best components in the industry. Then, sparing no expense and cutting zero corners, the concept of The CoPilot as the ultimate truck gun was conceived.” says Gunwerks C.O.O, James Christensen. “We wanted a rifle system that was accurate, lightweight, suppressed, and had all the top-of-the-line trimmings. It had to be perfect for a coyote, whitetail, or even a 500 lbs Nilgai.”

At its core, it is a Gunwerks’ GLR bolt action. Next, we added a Proof Research custom length, carbon wrapped barrel designed specifically for this rifle. Because we needed an ultra-compact package, we worked with Manners to design a collapsible carbon fiber stock. The versatility of this adjustable stock also makes it perfect for your little guy or girl to grow up with. The CoPilot also includes a frictionless sear trigger from Trigger Tech, Nightforce ATACR F1 4-16×42 optic, and is ready for a SilencerCo Omega suppressor. It also comes with an SKB hard case which protects a customized Armageddon Gear softside case which secures the rifle and houses the SilencerCo Suppressor as well as ammunition boxes in specialized compartments.

The custom Armageddon Gear case can be set down like a suitcase, and it will stand up unlike other soft side gun cases to ensure safety and convenience at all times. Another important part of the package is the ammo. The package ships with 1,500 rounds of 103 grain Hornady ELD-X loaded ammunition.

Finally, the package also features the Gunwerks Long Range Package meaning each gun is tested not only at 100 yards but at a distance to create a ballistic profile for every individual rifle. This information for a given altitude and temperature is engraved onto a ballistic turret. Utilizing a Trigger Tech trigger set at 2 lbs, the light, crisp pull coupled with the custom carbon barrel and the NightForce scope, this rifle has an effective hunting range of 800yds while the target range extends beyond 1200!

The CoPilot is an experience within itself from opening the case to entering the field. To see the CoPilot visit www.gunwerks.com/copilot or call 877-393-1639.

Gunwerks Announces New BR2500 Ballistic Rangefinder

Thursday, August 17th, 2017

Gunwerks announced today the release of it’s latest version ballistic rangefinder, the GSeven branded BR2500. The newly updated BR2500 carries a major upgrade in laser rangefinding capabilities, extending the effective range of the BR2500 to over 2,500 yards dependent on conditions. The BR2500 also features the best available laser beam divergence, set at .75 MRAD and optimized for hunting conditions with advanced signal processing tuned for ranging animals instead of highly reflective objects like steel. As with previous models, the BR2500 features five on-device programmable ballistic profiles, sensors for range, pressure, temperature and incline, and provides outputs for wind compensation.

The BR2500 provides the user a complete ballistic solution, providing both angle compensated and shoot-to range solutions for both MOA and BDC turrets and reticles.

“This is our most advanced ballistic rangefinder yet.” noted Aaron Davidson, Gunwerks founder and CEO. “We came out with the BR2 6 years ago, and this is the natural progression of ranging and ballistic technology. With the BR2500, we’re meeting or exceeding ranging capabilities previously only available in advanced military technology, while still retaining the Class 1 eye-safe designation with our laser.”

The G7 BR2500 is available immediately via Gunwerks direct and in coming weeks through Gunwerks’ network of dealers at a street price of $1,599. Learn more at www.gunwerks.com/store/featured-products/g7-br2500-rangefinder.
