Panteao Productions has introduced a new Make Ready Short-Sleeve T-Shirt. Made from 6.1 oz Preshrunk 100% cotton, the Panteao “PP†logo is screen printed on the front of the shirt with the Make Ready with The Experts logo and graphic are on the back.
It’s available in Black, Camel, and Olive in sizes M – 2XL.
Panteao Productions has just begun pre-orders on what is the first in a new series of documentaries. The new video, called “Down Zero”, follows shooters competing at the 2011 IDPA Carolina Cup. It’s geared towards introducing people to shooting sports and gives them a rare, inside look at a match from the perspective of the competitors and safety officers. “Miami Vice” fans should get a kick out of seeing actor Michael Talbott, known for his role as Detective Stan Switek make his competitive debut. Viewers will also get a glimpse at a free shooting clinic taught after the match by shooters like Super Dave Harrington, World Champion Robert Vogel, Mark Redl, and Tom Yost.

Who
Panteao Productions was founded by Fernando Coelho. Fernando was the founder of EOTAC, the tactical clothing company under the Freedom Group. Prior to that he developed the Woolrich Elite Series line of tactical clothing and founded Triton Cartridge, an ammunition company in NY. Rick Bravo is the VP of Panteao and Director of Photography. Rick also works for the Miami Dade PD. Prior to that Rick worked in the motion picture and television industry, including as a camera man on the television series Miami Vice.
What
Panteao produces instructional videos covering tactical training, competitive shooting, armorer’s training, and home defense. Additional areas are coming including precision shooting, dog handling, ammunition selection, documentaries, and more. These videos are available in either DVD format or as streaming video from the Panteao website. The streaming video is available via either a monthly or yearly subscription, in Standard or High-Definition.
Where
The Panteao headquarters is based out of Columbia, SC. The production crew are based out of Miami, FL.
When
Panteao was formed at the end of 2009. Video production commenced in July of 2010 and has continued ever since. As of September 1, 2011 we have fourteen video titles live on our site and on DVD with four more in post-production.
Why
Our goal is to provide a destination where you can receive the best training from the best instructors in their given areas of expertise. This ties back to the meaning of our name. Panteao is Portuguese for Pantheon, which means “a group of persons most highly regarded for contributions to a field or endeavor”. Our approach to the video content is a no nonsense, straight forward one-on-one training between the instructor and the viewer. It’s important to us that end users can absorb the information we are providing without any distractions. With more instructors being added and more titles coming from each existing instructor, we plan on growing the Make Ready series of instructional videos each month over the coming years.
“Make Ready with Massad Ayoob: Home Defense†is the latest release in the Make Ready video series from Panteao Productions. Massad Ayoob has been on the gun scene since 1971 when he first began writing for gun magazines. He is also the author of two books, “In the Gravest Extreme” and the “Gun Digest Book of Concealed Carry.” Ayoob has also been an expert witness for the courts in weapons and homicide cases for over 30 years, and a sworn part-time police officer for 36 years.
Home Defense is the first of several titles by Ayoob. In this video, he walks you through a typical home while giving you key points hardening the home’s perimeter, lighting, firearms and ammo selection, safe rooms, family member roles, getting help, and the myths of home defense.

In his first appearance at the IDPA Carolina Cup Panteao Gun Team’s Robert Vogel dominated the match. Quickly establishing a lead at the match, by the end he had stretched his lead by over 31 seconds to take the title of Stock Service Pistol Division Champion and finished high overall in a field of over 330 shooters. In addition to his shooting acumen, Bob serves as a Police officer from Wapakoneta, Ohio and is the only 3 gun Distinguished Master in the sport of IDPA.
Bob Vogel also tried his luck on the Carolina Cup side match called “Calderone’s Return – The Hit Listâ€, based on an episode from the television series, Miami Vice. Using a stock Colt 1911 and Winchester 230 grain ball ammo, Vogel took the title of Top Hit Man 2011.
Other Panteao Gun Team members that came within the top three of their divisions included Tom Yost with 2nd Place Master in Stock Service Pistol with a time of 227.32, Mark Redl with 2nd Place Master in Custom Defense Pistol with a time of 222.26, and Tom Carpenter with 3rd Place Master in Enhanced Service Pistol with a time of 212.54. New team member Mike Talbott made his IDPA debut at the Carolina Cup, shooting his first match.
Wrapping up the Carolina Cup, the Panteao Gun Team hosted a Shooting Sports Clinic for match participants. Over 50 people attended the free clinic that was taught by Mark Redl, Tom Yost, Dave Harrington, and Bob Vogel.

In his first video since striking out on his own, Travis Haley teamed with Panteao Productions to produce the latest instructional video in the Make Ready series. “Make Ready with Travis Haley: Adaptive Carbine†is the first of a series of new videos featuring Travis Haley, a veteran Force Reconnaissance Marine with 15 years of dedicated real world experience including multiple combat tours in Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. Previously, Haley partnered with Magpul as founder and CEO of their training division, Magpul Dynamics. Haley also served as president/CEO of the parent company, Magpul Industries, before breaking off to form Haley Strategic Partners. In these roles he became widely known in the shooting industry and refined his instructional technique.
According to Panteao Productions this new DVD will take training with Travis Haley in some new directions.
